New theory. Stars create cricket noises!!!

To add to this crickets are too  small to make noise and wolves are like normal dogs who have weird sleeping patterns thus they are too tired to howl.

Crikets make sounds that are similar to star made noise. I suppose that the crikets learned to  copy stars to be able to communicate without revealing their position to avoid predators.
Criket eating species like inticam are not able to distinguish a criket from a star.
