What is real?
« on: September 14, 2016, 02:24:00 PM »
Some time ago I saw the Matrix and I found it pretty interesting. We could all be living inside a simulation created by the robots, who's to say that isn't true? All of you and this entire planet could also be part of my imagination without me realizing. I mean who've died and come back say that they don't remember being dead, which explains it. If you die the imaginary world dies with you, which is why you can't remember any of it.

My fiancee had cancer in 1992, and she died in June.
Her death doesn't mean that I forgot her.

It could be that the world wasn't part of her imagination. It could still be part of mine. People can still die in imaginations.

Even if we are in a simulation, there is nothing we can do about it, so just do life as usual.
I wonder how obnoxious I can make my signature?
Please give me ideas.

What if we think we have free will, but what if we're really inside a game where you can control people for your entertainment, just like in Sims. When we do something it is because the player has made a command for us to follow.

Then we would have no way of telling, or doing anything about it, so life as usual.

How do I know that you're not some puppet controlled by a player who's trying to manipulate me?

So, you are just puppet controled by some player to write what you write now?

Life is like a game of Sims, but just with all the expansion packs.

Our life could be only one long dream that an alien dreams.
You might actually have fallen into coma years ago but don't realize.
We could be an alien experiment.
Or we're just a computer simulation.
Or...or...or...

Imaginary numbers are real. Or are they? It's complex.
