My belief in the Globe is simply because it fits with what I see!
It is reassuring that what I read confirms that belief.
But, as other posters have indicated, there are numerous observations that don't fit any Flat Earth model we have seen.
When we include the well documented information about the measurements of the Earth,
we find that it simply will not fit on a flat plane.
The only counter I've seen for that one is that all Geodetic Surveyors are Freemasons.
If a hypothesis needs claims like this to prop it up, it must be really weak!
