I think this election was a rejection of Democratic party ideas and policies, and not so much for the love of Trump (although there are plenty of Trump lovers out there). The Dems need to get their shit together, stop basing policy on bizarre academic theories, and go back to championing the working class.

I also think there will be another woman candidate, but Harris was doomed from the start. Now she can be unburdened by what has been.

I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

What was the German economic and political situation like in the early 1930s?
In the early 1930s, Germany was in an economic and political crisis.

Beginning in fall 1929, there was a world economic crisis known as the Great Depression. Millions of Germans lost their jobs. Unemployment, hunger, poverty, and homelessness became serious problems in Germany in the early 1930s.

The German government failed to solve the problems caused by the Great Depression. Germany was politically divided. This made passing new laws almost impossible because of disagreements in the German parliament. Many Germans lost faith in their leaders’ ability to govern.

Radical political groups like the Nazi Party and the Communist Party became more prominent. They took advantage of the economic and political chaos. They used propaganda to attract Germans who were fed up with the political stalemate.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis won followers by promising to create a strong Germany. The Nazis promised to

fix the economy and put people back to work;
return Germany to the status of a great European, and even world, power;
regain territory Germany had lost in World War I;
create a strong authoritarian German government;
and unite all Germans along racial and ethnic lines.

The Nazis played on people’s hopes, fears, and prejudices. They also offered scapegoats. They falsely claimed that Jews and Communists were to blame for Germany’s problems. This claim was part of the Nazis’ antisemitic and racist ideology.

They don't think Biden controls food prices, they complained about inflation. The economy is almost always one of the biggest issues in an election. It is one of the issues Biden has been judged for. It may not be completely fair to Biden, but it would be the same for any president.

What moral code?

Which vague plan? Did Harris have any clear plans?

Yeah, I meant inflation, basically.  Which means they voted a tyrant because they have no idea what controls inflation. And once Trump kills the Education department, their children won't either.

Supply being less than demand equals inflation. In Zimbabwe, they made all the blacks who couldn't farm into farmers, taking from whites. When some blacks managed to farm, they took from them too. Because there was little food being grown, the Zimbabwe dollar rose from whatever to billions in Zimbabwe dollars for one USD. Kamala Harris proposed such an idea. Yeah, anyone voting for her was literally on board with destabilizing the economy.

Failing that, I guess we just have to hope he didn’t really mean all the horrible shit he’s been talking about.

Not entirely wrong in that case, I’m afraid. Mugabe’s land reform program was a total fucking disaster.

I get why they did it.  Following independence, they wanted to give the land back to the native population, but seizing it from the white owners did not go very well.

Not the only factor though.

Sort of the irony of electing Trump because you're mad food costs more than it did 4 years ago.  What he's planning on doing will almost certainly make it worse.  Kicking out all the people that harvest the food for less than minimum wage isn't going to help.  A 20% tax on anything incoming also will not help.

I thought I was too jaded to enjoy the hysterical over reactions and salt.

It turns out I'm not.
Well, I can admit it.

Well.  Are you ready to admit this deep state that stole the 2020 election isn't a real thing?

Are you ready to admit it was silly to replace someone who got 81 million votes with someone who could only get 65 million votes?

Joe Biden was the most popular president in US history based on the amount of people that voted for him and you all wanted to replace him with Kamala?

Seriously?

What happened to the extra 15 million people who voted for Biden?

Anyway like I said, I just came to see the hysterical over reactions and salt. I dont even like Trump but it looks like you won't get a nuclear war for at least another four years based on Russia's reaction.

I'm sorry.

Ja ne.

If you have to ask I'm going to assume you didn't see that debate between Biden and Trump.

Seriously though.  Do you still believe the deep state stole the election in 2020 for Biden?  Did they steal this one in favor of Trump?

Stolen is a stong word, but again. You're not really selling me on the fact you believe Joe Biden got 15 million more votes than Obama.

Bidens legacy will be that he was the most popular president in US history and he was replaced by one of the least likeable people in the democratic party.

What were you thinking?
It's not like Biden suddenly got dementia halfway through his term, people knew what he was about in 2020, and he got 15 million more votes than Obama.

You don't just ignore that level of unprecedented voter turnout if you believed it happened. Which I'm sure you do.

Looks like you dropped the ball.
2020 was a unique election in many ways, due to covid and other factors but to just ignore the will of the American people and replace the most popular president in US history without a vote was a mistake.

Anyway watch little to nothing change except the media's rhetoric. Like I said the best thing that will come from this is easing tensions between the US, Russia and China.

Don't ignore that everything Israel has done in the middle east so far happened under democratic leadership. It's incredibly naive to think that democratic leadership wouldnt allow it to continue.

Edit.
I'm not going to stay and keep your website alive. I have the Joe Biden effect on new threads and posts here if you check the websites statistics. When I stop posting your engagement halves.

I agree.  I was making an observation on what would necessarily follow kicking out the harvesters.  If they go through with it then long term there might be an upside.  They might be able to sort it out in a way where we're not making shady near slavery arrangements to pick our food.

But they're not going to do that because kickout the harvesters will send the price of food through the roof which is the main thing that got Trump elected.

In 2020, no, he was nowhere near as bad cognitively as he was earlier this year.  You only need to compare his debate with Trump in 2020 to 2024 to see the difference.

Trump will not ease tensions with China.  He frames them as the enemy constantly.  That is not easing tensions.

Trump will ease tensions with Russia which will not lead to a cease fire, only more bloodshed.  We know that because that's exactly what happened when we stopped aid for a year.

I'm not saying that Harris would have stopped Israel.  Just that she was more likely than Trump to do so.  Harris had an incentive to stop it.  Trump has a strong incentive to keep it going.

Maybe if you didn't make such a big deal out of a bad debate performance then the democrats would still hold the presidency.

I personally didn't notice much of a difference. Biden sounded like Kabool in 2020 and sounded like Kabool in 2024.

I never understood what he was saying. It's not like Kamala made more sense, if anything she made less sense than Biden. I guess It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day.

Maybe democratic voters felt betrayed that the DNC replaced the most popular president in US history with one of the most unlikeable candidates the democratic party had to offer.

Who's to say.
Anyway, seems we're done here.
Ja ne.
Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.
