I don't think he lost his job. That university isn't the best anyways but the issue is that because there are no private universities in Greece, they're essentially employed by the state. Also they all seem to be buddies. So it's a bit complicated for someone to lose his job. Which is why most schools are shit but there are some good ones. The National Technical University of Athens is relatively high in global rankings and there are some other ones that are ok. But the buildings are all shite. They look like fucking war zones, or shady alleyways.
