  Really? We have been over this. These star trails are exactly what one would expect on a round earth. On a flat earth however: Why does the same thing happen in the southern hemisphere when you look south?

The van allen belts are zones of high radiation around a globe earth. If you want to invent your own death-zone, feel free to do so, but think of an own name, van allen belt is already given to something else.
