A scary scenario indeed.
Lets hope we do not live long enough to witness it.

Indeed.  Which is why we should all vote Trump.

Not only will he get tough on moonshramp (he's building a wall round the moon) he also bring about the End Times.

You can not expect a serious answer to something contradictory fet.
It is obvious that the moon is Illuminated by the sun.
But Lunas are just so cute!

Well I suppose that's where I struggle most with these people, but as the saying goes,
"You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into."

I just can't accept that though, I care too much........

jroa,

You see, there is this thing called a "thread". It is the conversation leading up to where we are now. It contains things like information and context. Without those things, you can sound like an idiot when you post, like you have just done.

I would expect you, of all people, to understand the basics of a forum, jroa.

If the moon and sun are only 5000km away and not 400,000km(moon distance) away wouldn't the reflected sun-light coming of the earth light up the whole moon?

No, the sun is more like a spotlight.

Actually, this does happen. Whenever you see the sun and moon in the sky at the same time, it's always a full moon, because it's reflecting the earth.

Not in real life, sorry... If you want to make statements like that, you're going to have to support them with evidence. Fairy tales aren't evidence.

No it's not!

I took this through the telescope 2 days ago, during the day, No Full Moon! Sorry about the black around it, that's a result of taking a pic through the eyepiece with my cellphone. But, as you can see, immediately around the Moon, is blue. (Hopefully anyways, but if not, there's plenty of photos showing this)

That is simply wrong. Have you ever looked at the sky?

Ha I'm not angry, although it is irritating that you think anyone should take you seriously. No evidence, no debate, and this is the debate forum....

Ha I'm not angry,
Don't worry, the "angry globularist" shit is just one of their "hilarious" memes.

The lovely SpaceCowgirl aside, the rest of the flatties usually seem furious about something..
