STFU sock-puppet.

Back to this:

Lastly, none of you have given the slightest proof for the existence of 'satellites'; all you have given proof of is that there are signals coming from a certain direction.

Off you go now; offer proof that flying battery-powered maintenance-free trashcans 20,000 miles past the atmosphere exist & are capable of providing such long-ranged transmissions for years on end!
I got Trolled & Shilled at the CIA Troll/Shill Society and now I feel EPIC!!!

It's not a certain direction, it's an actual position.

And you have yet to prove that a point to point communication system like troposcatter could be confused with a broadcast communication system like satellite TV.

Again, the signals come from a certain position, not just direction.  The design and engineering proof is well understood and documented.

Whereas we have no information or proof of an alternative transmitter for reception of a specific TV service.

The main website to get satellite information is lyngsat.com ie lying Sat!
Confirmed trolls to ignore:

Sokarul-tries to equate wide angle lens with a fisheye lens
Definitely not official-tries to equate wide angle lens with a fisheye lens

Just because the "Insert Quote" button does not appear to be working (and not just for you) doesn't mean you can't copy and paste other quotes.

Never heard of it, but satbeam.com is cool (ie satellite beam)
or dishpointer.com (ie dish pointer)

Lots of satellite information on wikipedia.org also (ie wiki encyclopedia)

This 'ie' thing is kind of stupid, we should stop doing it....

And why do you claim that "lyngsat.com" is the main one?
There is "www.dishpointer.com", "http://www.satsig.net/", "http://www.lyngsat.com/ NOT  lying Sat", "http://www.csgnetwork.com/", etc, etc.

But paranoid that you are, you have to pick a name you can twist! Real unbiased reporting!

You need to be careful. I could give you the name of someone who started getting as rabid as you. And he did literally end up getting sectioned for his paranoia, more or less got carted away! True, I'd swear on Ned Kelly's grave on that.
Actually it was not on this site, and I could give you copies of posts and PM's and posts, but I won't - to protect the guilty as they say.
And no, I don't think I caused it, I'm glad to say - I really wouldn't wish that on anyone - even you.
Maybe you should consult "Humble_Scientist" again - he's cheap - VERY cheap!
The last bit IS  :P tongue in cheek  :P , But the rest is actually true.

Still pining for Geoff! Poor Papa! Wasn't this the right one?
By the way, I can't be Geoff, I'm nowhere that hansom (to another "Android").

We'll keep looking for Geoff, but I don't hold out much hope! If you have a photo it would help.

With zero proof of an alternative we can now be confident that satellites provide services like broadcast tv, communication and navigation.
