I already showed what was needed to trusted people on here and one other person from Aus that seemed to disappear after I showed all the necessary proof, like I said I would.

Photos and video and he didn't stay around to pass it on. I wonder why?
Hahaha.....you don't actually expect anyone to believe that do you?

Just watched a program on national geographic. Genius by Stephen hawking.

He had a group of volunteers use a laser to show curvature of the earth.  They used a laser and fired it across the lake. They took a measurement at 500feet using a boat and a white board. Then went 3 miles out. The laser light spot was now 6 feet above the original spot.

What is causing this if not curvature?
Stephen Hawking is a nominal person.
Found out what nominal means yet?

Yes thanks. Maybe you people need to actually figure it out; it just might open your beady little eyes.

The definition of nominal when used in an operational sense is 'Satisfactory'.

There are other uses of the word nominal but the context is wrong.

The channel tunnel between England and France was built from both ends simultaneously.

They used lasers on both ends to keep construction going perfectly straight.

If the earth was round wouldn't the tunnel do the opposite of travelling with the earth's curve?

Using lasers to guide construction of a tunnel would make it angle up instead of down surely?

If the tunnel ignores the curve of the earth then the first half of the journey would feel like going downhill and the second half would feel like going uphill.

If the tunnel ignores the curve of the earth then the first half of the journey would feel like going downhill and the second half would feel like going uphill.

Do you KNOW how azimuths ("compass" directions) are determined in tunneling?

A common instrument used is the Gyro-Theodolite. This is more or less a gyro-compass + theodolite, though is far more precise than a marine gyro-compass.

Quote from: Esther Inglis-Arkell
The gyrotheodolite lets you navigate by the turn of the earth
One of the wonderful things about science is that it often accomplishes things that you didn't even think were possible in the service of doing things you would never think to do in the first place. A great example of this is the gyrotheodolite, an instrument that lets you navigate underground, by using the rotation of the earth to pick out direction.

The Chunnel, which connects England to mainland Europe by way of an underground tunnel deep enough to scoop under the English Channel, was completed in 1994. It's over thirty miles long, and since trains rush through it every day, it can't have any sudden turns. It was constructed by crews on both sides of the Channel, each digging away in hopes of meeting at the same spot in the middle. To everyone's great pleasure, they did meet, and no extra digging had to be done.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Foucault mounted a gyroscope on two rings, one that allowed the gyroscope to freely swivel vertically, and the other which allowed it to freely move horizontally. When spun quickly, it seemed to swing out of true, but Foucault knew that this was due to the world turning underneath it, not the wobbling of the gyroscope, which, since it could move freely, tried to maintain its position in space as the ground turned under it.
What if it couldn't? If the gyroscope were restricted in its movement, it could be used as something else. If the ring that allowed the horizontal movement of the gyroscope were weighted, it would apply force to the gyroscope. But this force wouldn't be noticeable at once. Only when the world turned would the gyroscope 'feel' the force of gravity on the ring that let it turn horizontally. When a rotating object feels an unbalanced force at one end, in this case the force of gravity pulling it horizontally towards the earth, it will respond by moving at right angles to that force. This move will pull the gyroscope around vertically, until the axis it is rotating around is parallel to the north-south axis of the earth. It has become a compass. What's more, it has become a compass that points true north, not magnetic north.
From The gyrotheodolite lets you navigate by the turn of the earth
The instrument on the right is an 'gyro-theodolite'. It basically consists of a gyroscope attached to the bottom of a Hilger & Watts micrometer theodolite. The gyroscope enables the direction of true north to be determined with a standard error of about 15" within a very short time.

Quote from: Hilmar Ingensand, Adrian Ryf, Institute of Geodesy and Photogrammetry, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich
The Gotthard Base Tunnel - a challenge for geodesy and geotechnics
3 Transfer of direction and coordinates in the vertical shaft
For the intermediate attack at Sedrun, the project requires a precise three-dimensional coordinate transfer and a direction transfer from the surface (1340 m) to the tunnel level (540 m). This has to be done by plumbing and distance measurements in a vertical shaft with a diameter of 8 m and with a depth of 800 m. In addition, a vertical direction transfer from the surface network at the entrance
to the bottom of the shaft has to be realised.
The precise direction transfer from the surface network to the tunnel’s level will be carried out with gyroscope theodolites. For that purpose actual gyroscopes, as Gyromat, DMT, will give the best results.
From: eisenstadt98.pdf

And do you know something? The Gyro-Theodilite PROVES that the earth rotates about an axis through the North and South Pole!

There are numerous other references to this topic, such as: Optimization of the Breakthrough Accuracy in Tunneling Surveys.

Who says they're using it in the same sense you'd like us to believe?

Stop projecting your brainwashing bullshit & read the simple definition:

Pretty fucking obvious what 'all systems nominal' means to anyone who can read...

Means they're making shit up & rubbing your face in the fucking fact.

But to shills & retards it means shpayze-ecksplurayshun izz reeli reeli reel!!!11!!!11!!!
