You put a lot of effort into not understanding how a rocket works.

I'll give you a high 5 for tenacity.

(thanks for not calling me a penguin.)

You shills REALLY need to watch your vocabulary.

What, for tenaciously understanding how a rocket works?

Cool.

A propeller engine uses air to propel itself. A rocket engine uses its own exhaust to propel itself. The two are very different. Get over with it. Grab a model rocket, find a vacuum chamber, put it in it, and fire it. If it works, then rockets work in a vacuum.

Interesting.

Describe in single words. Only the good things that come to your mind. About your mother.

A rocket engine uses its own exhaust to propel itself.

Thank you; that will go in my 'stupid Clown quotes' collection as soon as I am finished interrogating 'Stanton'.

What else did your psychiatrist ask you?

Running away from the Vought-Kampff test, eh?

Interesting.

Back to this:

As everything you say is a lie, I'm gonna just keep leaving your gibberish without comment, for intelligent people to be appalled by:

rockets don't really need pressure in order to work.

F=ma is F=ma; how does 'context' change the fact that you ended up saying that non-zero F can be created when m=0?
Then you shouldn't have any trouble telling us how much atmospheric mass a rocket needs to push against in order to accelerate.

Rockets can just as easily use solid objects as the reaction mass and work just fine.

What part of F=pa says anything about mass?

What part of F=pa says anything about mass?

^This last one's a beauty!
Yes, because it shows that your claim that rocket engines work by pressure pushing against atmospheric mass is utter nonsense.

you are the one who is claiming that a rocket must push against the mass of the atmosphere but refuse to explain how much atmospheric mass your rocket engine must push against.

Coke bottle  (one object) water (one object) how does the coke bottle lift off the ground?

rockets don't really need pressure in order to work.

This is totally correct. You don't need pressure at all. Just ejecting any object with mass out the back will work. It just happens to be easiest to do it with pressurised exhaust gases.

What do you think would happen if Satan was in space and threw a medicine ball half of his mass?

a rocket does not have arms that throw gas into space.

I agree it's not a direct comparison.

Just for the record i think markjo is a fair and reasonable mod.

The correct equation is f=ma.

The correct equation for Satan on a skate board is

Conservation of momentum..   derivation is here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsiolkovsky_rocket_equation#Derivation

It's funny how you're quoting a while bunch of intelligent people who are laughing at you.

Kinda ironic actually.
