There. Now I have that off my chest. Jews don't even pretend unless they are stupidly liberal, and then they are not pretending. They actually believe the bullshit at that point.
The rest of us, who believe that we are the Chosen People, aren't racist, since a Jew can be of ANY race. But we ARE ethnocentric and religio-centric.
In terms of the Dutch Jews and Black slaves, I don't know how true that is. But it might be. Jews in Europe were restricted to money lending at interest (since good Christians could not do that by law at the time) and other occupations involving money and the getting of it. These laws existed for 500 years. Do only a few professions for five centuries, you will get good at them.
A Jewish merchant would not have cared about the slaves' colour. He would have cared about money and the getting of it, is, the only profession he was allowed by law. Racism would NOT have been a factor. He'd have transported ANYBODY except a fellow Jew if the money was good and the State made it in his best interest to do so. Everybody in Europe thought slavery was a morally cool thing to do. The Jew would not have been any different except toward his own People.
Only Liberal, Stupid Jews claim to NOT believe in the Chosen People concept. Unfortunately, in America and Canada, the Liberal Stupid Jews tend to outnumber the ones with sense. But go anywhere else and most of us have enough effing sense to know that ONLY A JEW WILL LOOK AFTER A JEW. We can only trust our own. We DAMN sure can't trust Gentiles! We can be courteous and have good relationships with them, but in the end, the Jews must protect the Jews.
