An easier KSP challenge.

You can use either the demo or the full game to do this, so either way you are OK.

The challenge is:

Launch a manned rocket into orbit, perform scientific research, de-orbit your capsule (you'll need to have a service module to do this, basically fuel and an engine), and land safely in the Kerbin oceans.

Take time to learn the controls with the in game tutorials, and then create a save game and attempt the challenge.

Hard mode: Fly by the Mun and get back to Kerbin.

I suppose that The Legend of Zelda proves that the kingdom of Hyrule exists as well?

No, but KSP is modeled using real physics (albeit simplified) and can provide insights into how space travel works.

The demo has the mun, but not minimus or any other planets. If you make a large enough rocket you can land on the mun.

No. It's just a game.

In the same context, just because Tatooine the planet is a Star Wars game doesn't mean it's real. Same with the Kerbals. Now, if you don't mind, attempt the challenge. Tell me how you did.

I'll definitely be getting that!
