Ok guys, just one question. If the earth is accelerating at X metres per second per second. This implies that we are constantly accelerating.

What happens when we reach the speed of light? Would appreciate an answer in mathmatical terms please.

Thanks Rama i understand it is currently impossible for us to reach the speed of light. I have a basic understanding of special relativity.

I was curious to see a flat earthers interpretation of it.

It would take an infinite amount of time to reach the speed of light.  A constantly accelerating object will approach the speed of light asymptotically.
