I know it was all for show, but I take issue with a few things he said (I only watched about 2 minutes of the 4-ish minute clip):
1. I don't know of any presidential candidate, ever, that has believed the Earth was flat.
2. His demonstration was not of gravity, but of gravitation.
3. The Equivalence Principle states that #2 would have happened in a non inertial frame of reference, also and could not be distinguished.
So this is all very telling for a person that just crapped all over someone for their statements 'when they have the ability to influence', and here is Tyson doing the exact same thing.
