LOL really dude? Draw a line from the center of the dish, through the receiver, and see if it still points to a tower.

Yes, it does.

'Dude'.

It's pointing to space because that's where the satellites are.

No, it isn't.

It is pointing, with absolute precision & at an angle just above the horizontal, directly at the nearest cell-phone tower.

'Dude'.

But you can keep telling me it isn't if you like?

That would be fun!

What compass direction?  Why point at a cellphone tower for tv reception?  Please provide links to broadcasters transmitter information.

So is it falling around the earth ?  Or is it travelling with the inertia of the spherical spun BS. Maybe its just a well made balloon, thats caculated to rise & hovering at 110,000ft - 120,000ft . Suspending relay devices .
Maybe, maybe, maybe - it's all you can come up with.
The only trouble is that the longitude AND altitude of the TV satellites can be determined by triangulation from the published receiving antenna altitude-azimuth information.

Just don't ask me to to the calculations though!  I'm too lazy!

LOL!!!

I put a bee in your little satellite-worshipping AI-bot bonnet, didn't I?

I have no idea why you think any of your questions are relevant.

I simply told you what I observed.

Which is: the 'satellite TV' dishes near me all point directly at the nearest cellphone tower.

Anyone is free to make similar observations & draw whatever conclusions they like.

Now please take your robotic inquisition elsewhere.

So you will not provide more details to justify your claim.  Speak to a satellite dish installer.  You are wrong in believing dishes point to cellphone towers.  They will all point in one general direction to satellites over the equator.

You are getting the angle wrong tho. I might agree that it "might" be pointed in the general direction of a cell phone tower. But the angle is wrong.

The dish is pointed way too high.

Still waiting for your explanation of iridium flares.

LOL!!!

I don't have to provide you with a single damn thing, Thought-Inquisitor.

I just have to look out of my window & see the 'satellite TV' dishes pointing sideways at the nearest cellphone tower.

I do not care if an anonymous internet bot-entity believes me or not.

You are getting the angle wrong tho.

LOL!!!

No I am not.

You are trying to tell me that what I am observing with my own two eyes, directly outside my house, is 'wrong'.

You are insane.

What is with Google Earth? Where do they get their accurate pictures from? How can they even made this without satellites?
ANd don`t tell me Google Earth is fake. Somewhen, someone would have looked at the Google Earth and thought: "From my experience, this can`t be right". But no, everything is correct. Also a proof that Earth is round.

But of course I know, Google Earth, as everything else ever...is fake and conspiracy. Yes yes we get it.

So some point north, some point south etc. towards this tower?  Sounds like terresterial tv.

I'm not a flat earther.

And the fact that all the 'satellite TV' dishes near me point directly at the nearest cellphone tower is not a conspiracy.

In fact, the inquisi-bot has already admitted that terrestrial signals can be picked up through 'satellite TV' dishes.

Look:

It all seems quite simple to me: no 'satellites' needed.

I would just ask where EXACTLY is this cell-phone tower the TV dish is pointing at?

Can you provide an address or lat/long coordinates so someone can verify it is transmitting TV?

Terresterial tv CANNOT be picked up through dishes designed for satellite tv, unless you can provide a link to details...

No, just getting Dish TV from a cellphone tower is unusual (and probably not happening). Without this information, you are probably just making it up. Even if some idiot was pointing his dish TV at a tower, it does not mean he is getting any actual TV service. He can point it at his car and have the same affect. What company is providing this dish TV service?
