Are there any videos of this space station being built from scratch?

Of course not.  The space men would have never have thought about that.

I just wondered if there was any pool assembly or some special effects building of it against a black background. Not even that eh?
Ah well, it doesn't surprise me.

What do you mean by "built from scratch"?  Do you mean the fabrication of the individual modules on earth or putting the modules together in orbit?

Of course not.  Any such video would be 15 years long.  There is no video of my house being built either, but that doesn't prevent it from being real.

All of it. You'd think it would be well documented. Let's face it, it's an INTERNATIONAL supposed space station so it's not like they need to hide anything from anyone, is it?
You'd think they'd be more than happy to boast to hell about putting the pieces together on Earth and then showing how they unload them into space to make this big supposed station.

I would love to see how a conversation like that would have happened...

"Hey, you know the new station core we are about to launch?  Well I think we should launch a camera up there and video the entire construction process."

"Are you mad?  The station will take over a decade to construct.  Just a web server with enough storage space to store a video like that would cost millions of dollars and who would watch a video that's 15 years long?  Why would we ever do something like this?"

"But we could probably somehow use the video to brag to the 2 people who actually decide to watch it.  Think about it."

"It seems like an awful idea."

There is a live feed of Earth from the ISS and every EVA is recorded, there are also videos of ships docking and videos of things being done from inside the station.  Anyone can see the station flying over head and rich people can visit the station on a Soyuz which has been done by multiple people.

Cops have cameras on all of their videos.  You would think that astronuts would have one or two as well.  Or, is that out of their budget range?  lol

They seem to do plenty of videos showing you around the inside of it and doing experiments that are absolutely worthless. You'd think they would have footage of this thing being built and simply time lapse it.

Of course, we know the reason why they don't,  don't we Mikey boy?

All astronauts do in fact have cameras when they are outside of the station with their space suits on.  They don't film every second of their time on the station though just as police don't take the cameras home and film their whole life.

They seem to do plenty of videos showing you around the inside of it and doing experiments that are absolutely worthless. You'd think they would have footage of this thing being built and simply time lapse it.

A video like that would actually be very easy to fake but hard to legitimately make.  Why do you think NASA would want to spend millions of dollars to create a short video that was kind of cool?  A time lapse of the station being built has no scientific purposes, and since NASA cares about doing science they won't bother making such a time lapse.

If a time lapse like that did exist then I am sure that flat earthers would find it suspicious because it's totally pointless, and I would probobaly find it suspicious as well.  Again, there are no time lapse videos of my house being built even though something like that would be cool, but that doesn't stop my house from existing.  Also, just like my house I can see the station with my own eyes.

When they are wearing their space suit the camera is moving with them, so you can't really make a time lapse out of that.  In actuality most segments are attatched using robotic arms on the station controled by astronauts inside the station.

I'm sorry but what part of "live as they're happening" did you not understand?  Do you really expect every minute of every EVA to be available on line?

Do they only turn on the cameras when something camera worthy is about to happen?  It almost sounds like they are following a script.

List of all 189 Spacewalks made on the space station

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_International_Space_Station_spacewalks

Each entry leads to an extra page with more details, many including links to picture collections of the respective crews, inside and outside of the station.

Should they leave the suit cameras on while the suit is in storage?  ::)

It almost sounds like they are following a script.
In a way, they are.  Because of the great danger and complexity of the work, most EVAs are planned in great detail and rehearsed many times before the astronauts ever go into space.

Considering their budget, actually, yes. That's part of it.

You'd be amazed how much work goes into planning, writing, storyboarding, casting, filming, adding CGI, editing and promoting a film or TV show.

But, does that make them real?

It also makes me cringe how you bozo's mention social media updates as proof of legitimacy. Good one.

So as usual, you have an opinion about a subject, based on profound ignorance, type a few words on a messageboard, and hey presto, absolute evidence about a worldwide conspiracy concerning space travel.

Lol, you people are just the biggest joke around at the moment.

Still waiting for proof to back up your pathetic rants...............................

There must be thousands of people around the world who know about this conspiracy, but as yet no one has spoken up, not one, ever.

I've recently organised a surprise birthday party for a guy at work. We have 25 staff and it took only one to ruin the surprise, just one.

You people are just deluded fools if you think thousands of people can be kept quiet, forever.

Well done NASA - 12 men on the moon and back again.
