Satellite image of earth
« on: September 15, 2015, 08:48:50 AM »
Apologies if this has already been discussed. I found what is apparently a single image (and movie) taken of earth from a russian satellite called electro-L see links below for more infomation:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2142884/Earth-Stunning-picture-Russian-weather-satellite-shows-definitive-image-planet.html

http://eng.ntsomz.ru/electro

It looks a lot more convincing to me than anything from NASA - I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts?

Of course flatties will wave their hands about and say Russian meteorologists are also part of The Conspiracy...

Yes, ESA are in on it too. India never went to mars, China, Iran and Japan keeps their mouth shut because they love america so much. And sattelites does not exist. thats why we dont have television, internet, cellphones and GPS and every telecominucation technology interacting with satelittes. Thats why we don't have all that, because NASA are satanic nazis.
If it's flat, that would be very interesting for science

Yes. That is also why we don't have the Flat Earth Society Forum Website because we don't have the internet.

Nah she's all good, north at the top, south at the bottom. Satellite was positioned correctly to get Australia sitting down under.
Yep matches the other ones.

Looks good to me too. I can clearly see the spot light sun, clouds moving and the Earth spinning. The colors are breathtaking. I can almost see the waves breaking on the shore lines.

How can you tell the sun is a spot light?
Earth is flat, but Jupiter is the flattest planet in our solar system.

Yendor has trouble with the concept of up and down,   so here's the animated gif.     Note the spotlight sun,   proving of course that it was filmed in a studio.

NO, NO, NO...this link is the video I'm talking about. This plainly shows a spot light sun shining on the surface of the Earth. How can the clouds be moving faster than the Earth spinning? In fact I don't see any spinning Earth at all. And I do know up from down.

Geostationnary satellite... ::)
Actually, we know that the Earth turns by seeing the moving shadow ;)
And the "spotlight" is only an optical effect :)

Wow, finally  Yendor get's it,   the video show the spotlight sun moving over a stationary earth..  only problem is it's not flat.   Damn.

Geez took you long enough to figure it out.  Keep thinking...

When the Sun sets, from my perspective, which way is the "spotlight" pointing!?

And why doesn't the Sun get smaller near Sunset, when it should be farther away?

And why Chan's we still see a spotlight Sun with a telescope at night?

Geez, It must be round because it is fake. Most of the fake pics I see of the Earth shows the atmosphere, this artist forgot that. He probably figured globe heads wouldn't care anyway, they believe anything. Wake up Razor, you are smarter than this.
