A leap second is a one-second adjustment that is occasionally applied to UTC/GMT in order to keep its time of day close to the mean solar time. The Earth's rotation speed varies in response to climatic and geological events, leap seconds are irregularly spaced and unpredictable. Since this system of correction was implemented in 1972, 25 such leap seconds have been inserted.

Therefore, leap second proves that it is the Earth which rotates and not the Sun nor other celestial objects.

Clearly time is in on the conspiracy.

Obviously NASA's multi-billion dollar budget is being used to send rockets into the sky to push the solar spotlight.

Supposedly to keep the Earth and seasons in synch. Add hours, lose hours. Add a second in 3 years. Whatever.
If the Earth was so in synch, there would be no need for all this crap but there's always an excuse which people buy into about all kind of utter utter shite to do with wobbles or rotations or whatever. There's too much bullshit to keep track of.

Let's put it this way. If something happens on this Earth that totally goes against it being a globe, you can bet your life that some lying bozo will make something up for why it's happened.

Imagine we lost the usual run of the sun for a week and the place was frozen over and darkish. What do you think we would be told?

It would be something like, " oh the Earth has hit a strong gravitational well which has shifted it's axis for the week but all is well now."
Then they'll name it something like, a shaxis, short for shift of axis. 

Yeah I'm being silly but you know what. This is the stupid game playing that we see these people do on a regular basis. They just make shit up and have people backing them up that simply accept the made up shit.

Leap seconds are necessary because the Moon applies tudal friction on the Earth causing it to slowly slow down.  Because of conservation of angular momentum, this also speeds the Moon up in it's orbit causing it to move away a few centimeters per year.  It's an effect that can be predicted to exist given only that gravity is real and that the Moon orbits the Earth, and assuming this the effect is easy to predict and measure.

I just wanted to clarify why leap seconds exist on a round Earth.

It was a typo, I meant tidal friction.  It's the same reason that the Moon is tidally locked with the Earth.
