I just Googled "why are there loose wires in the international space station" and 3rd down is this;

Here are a few more images inside ISS

Here is an outside picture with his foot tangled up in some wires. I hope they are not important. I honestly believe they show all these wires hanging around so people will say, "look you know this is the real spaceship because look at all those wires hanging around." This looks impressive to the casual observer. to people in the know, they would never allow wires to simply hang around and float in the air. Get real people. If it was real they would be tied in bundles and secured to brackets. Besides that, they would probably be behind the equipment out of sight and danger.

Hello mikeman,

I see, these wires are part of kits they send up for the Astronauts to install. You would think that they would have been trained better on how to lash wires down so they wouldn't get tangles up in things. Also have you never seen a wire chafe? I guess that is just me thinking again. About the water. I think they do that to try and throw us off. I would think space suites would be better designed then let water inside the helmet. Also, are you sure what you see is actually manned or just an image projected in the sky. Of course not, they would never do that.

Yendor

But they do attach the wires to the walls, but they also have a ton of other stuff attached to the walls that they have to go around and over quite often.  There are also a lot of coiled wires which I suspect are spares.  They also have to leave room on the walls for more equipment that will be sent up in the future.  It is a bit of a mess, but it's better then having to launch all new modules that are designed to hold the equipment in them.

Space suits are incredibly complicated devices and where there is a lot of complexity there are a lot of things that can go wrong.  Engineers try their best to avoid design flaws but sometimes flaws slip through and make it into the final design.  There have actually been card that have had to be recalled because of flaws in the design or software, even though the company spent millions of dollars designing and testing it.

No technology exists that can project a station in orbit.  You are just making up technologies now.  I have seen the most powerful spotlight in the world in Las Vegas and that is definitely not making a projection in the sky.  And to think that flat earthers call round earthers desperate...

I am actually working on organizing an experiment to prove the shape of the Earth.  I have a few round earther volunteers participating, but no flat earthers yet.  I suggest you volenteer to help out.

Again, why not ask them? I'm sure you could find a way to ask about a very important issue such as this. They really try to interact on social media as much as they can. Good PR for them.

Pythagoras,

I read the link and that information is wrong. You simply don't do that kind of stuff on any craft or house. If you wanted to install a fan in your old house would you simply run romex down your wall and not go to the trouble of running it in the wall? I was stationed on a navy destroyer for 5 years and never saw any kind of mess that is on the ISS. That ship was nearly 30 years old and had seen man crews come and go. That ship had a lot of changes take place and it looked like the day it was new on the inside. Not wanting to remove panels to run wires behind them. Who are they trying to fool? If those panels are not designed to be remove easily, then someone dropped the ball. I also see a lot of hook and loop (Velcro) straps on cables. there are restrictions on using that stuff on the craft. They don't seem to mind using a lot of it all over the place. Fine if you don't agree with me I don't expect you to. I wouldn't want you guys to be a government inspector.
Just my thoughts.

Conker,

The only evidence I've seen the Earth is round is the pictures they took during the Apollo missions. It so happens I don't believe we ever went to the moon, so I don't believe the pictures they took. Unless Mikeman is going to fly to the moon, i'm sure his experiment won't prove anything. In my opinion, the Earth may not be flat as the UN flag suggests. It my be another shape, even a shape we can't even imagine. I simply don't know. However, there are a lot of uncertainties that the REers say is true that I just can't buy into. They like to call me names and ridicule me like bullies do in school, but that doesn't bother me. I'm above all that. I've had to deal with those kind before. I know most are part of universities that can stay on this site all day because that is their jobs. They get paid to insult people like me so i will go away. I'll go away when i get good and ready. I'm only here to try and convince people, that may be on the fence like I was for a long time, That the FET makes a lot more sense  then people living on a ball.

I am sure about the shape of the Earth, I am doing the experiment to persuade others.  I have participated in an experiment in the past involving sunspot observation and the only excuse people could find to make my findings fit with a flat Earth is to call me a liar.  This is why I am trying to include flat earthers this time.  I am so confident that it will work that I can say that I will become a flat earther if I get results that make no sense on a round Earth and suggest a flat Earth.  After all, any good scientist is open minded.

That's a lie right there, mikeboy. I criticised your "experiment" for being completely amateurish and providing almost no details, apart from your conclusion. I'm sure your next "experiment" will be just as childish.

Be sure to post your scientific paper so I can laugh at you again.

I provided many details about it and if you have any questions about the experiment nothing is stopping you from asking me.  I was referring to Vauxhall who concluded that my image was faked because it's low quality.  I offered to redo the experiment many times with flat earthers involved.

I don't plan on publishing a scientific paper because to 99% of people the Earth being round is no big news.  I will be posting my results here though to people to which the idea of the Earth being round is big news.

Feel free to come to my thread and many a hypothesis as to what you think would happen on a flat Earth.  Last time the flat earthers posted no hypotheses despite me asking them to, probably because they were scared that it wouldn't come true.

I am setting up this experiment so it will be more conclusive and more people can participate.  Maybe you should participate, I need some flat earthers to help so they can't use the "the images are fake" excuse when the results probe the roundness of the Earth.  If the experiment proves the roundness of the Earth will you become a round earther?  If not then you are clearly very biased.

I have many exposed wires in my house too, it's not really hazardous because the wires have an insulative cover on them so they can't shock me or start fires.  It makes perfect sense that the ISS has wires going around like that and it's not dangerous.

All you've done so far is prove that you are a liar   ".... oh please sir, tell me what troll is, it sounds nasty"    and then you admit a week later,  "Yes I was trolling"
You have no knowledge of what goes on in a space station,  and  know nothing about solar panels or satellites, despite claiming having to have worked in the electronics industry.

I still think you aren't who you say you are.   How about coming clean with the truth for a change?

That ship had a lot of changes take place and it looked like the day it was new on the inside. Not wanting to remove panels to run wires behind them. Who are they trying to fool? If those panels are not designed to be remove easily, then someone dropped the ball. I also see a lot of hook and loop (Velcro) straps on cables. there are restrictions on using that stuff on the craft. They don't seem to mind using a lot of it all over the place. Fine if you don't agree with me I don't expect you to. I wouldn't want you guys to be a government inspector.
Just my thoughts.

So let me get this straight... They make a fake space station, pretend that it's in space. Time goes by and they have to do something to make it look like they are doing something, right? So... they start adding stuff. Fake equipment, new computers to surf porn with, big screen TV (out of camera range, naturally), you know... stuff. Someone must, at some point, have said "We really should put all these wires behind panels! On the ship I was on in the Navy, we would never let it look like this!" But the lone decenter was overruled.

Years go by, what, 14 now? One day, the VP in charge of misinformation on the project is perusing some pictures of the new Surround Sound System and said "Holy crap! Look at all those wires! That would never pass muster on a Navy ship! Some smart person on a conspiracy website is going to notice, then our cover will be blown!  We better get out a cover article ASAP!" So... some fake "NASA Engineer" shot out an article explaining why the Space Station looks like a nightmare.

Makes prefect sense to me.
I'm no rocket scientist, but at least I know the Earth is round, Man went to the Moon, and air exists.

I'm struggling to see all the mess you guys are going on about.

They're grasping at straws.
"Look! This is a problem! Wires all over the place like a jungle!"
*just a couple wires bunched up*
"This is a fire hazard! Trust me I know everything about zero gravity workplaces!"

Dog,

So what. You obviously know nothing about voltage and current. You should ask mikey T. about it. He's an expert, a drip under pressure. Yes, I know I'm getting to you guys. We are grasping at trees now we are well past straws.

I think  Rodney  didn't  like being "outed"  as playing that "dumb yokel" game of his.    ;D

Now he's become  "smart"  Rodney,   but still can't tell me which part of a solar panel you would get an electric shock from.

Right again Sceptimatic. That is exactly what I mean No one would want their house look like that with wires hanging all around. I lived on a navy destroyer for five years and they simply wouldn't allow wires hanging around. How about the jets a lot of these guys fly. Do you believe they would fly one if wires were hanging all over the place, but they will fly in a space station? Tust use mind when you people look at this stuff they shove down your throats. Look at the details. The devil is in the details you know.

If you live on a Navy destroyer for five years..

a. was that a floating museum not going anywhere or an active vessel ?
b. if it was an active vessel did you ever go up on bridge and have a look at navigation charts ?

Josan,

a. I saw on active duty on board a DDG during Vietnam war. It was a destroyer that had a missile system on board.
b. I didn't go to the bridge much. Mainly only during docking and undocking. I handled the engine order telegraph. So I never paid any attention to navigation charts.
c. The only charts i've noticed is whats on TV. I did read one time were you treated the navigation charts like the world was flat. Whatever that means.

Do you have anymore questions for me?
