How is the solar eclipse possible in the flat earth model?

Title says it all.

If we look at this image. Then according to the FE-model, the moon never blocks the sun.
Then how is a solar eclipse possible?

I think they rely on a 'shadow object' or some separate entity which only ever appears during an eclipse. They talk about eclipses here: http://wiki.tfes.org/Lunar_Eclipse

That doesn't work...at all. Do they even think this nonsense through?

Sometimes I wonder: "Why am  I on this site?"
Then I look at threads about clouds not existing and I go back to posting and lurking. Lurk moar.

I would be less surprised to see a pig fly then I would be to see a flat earther thinking something through.
I am having a video war with Jeranism.
See the thread about it here.

flat earth cannot be since if it was there would be no way the outer planets could be lit by the spotlight sun

Depending on who you ask, they might not be planets. Apparently the Earth's the only 'planet'. I know a few say others provide their own light.

That is not even talking about solar eclipses...
I said "solar eclipse", not "lunar eclipse"...
