Maybe we are looking at different opening posts. I am looking at the one that is about tourists at the south pole.
I cannot find the thread about the sun position in Antarctica.

Another derailment

How about you stop derailing and say something related to flat earth ideas in consequence to the thread so that something can be debated or you leave and play elsewhere?

You and Jroa appear to be the only people here focusing on tour guides.  Tour guides are just an irrelevant distraction otherwise known as derailing

The topic as I read was "Tourists at South Pole" not Antarctica or anywhere else.
The picture here is of tourists at the tip of cape York. Not of tourists in Australia.
This sign is often stolen in fact It could be placed anywhere along the coast the tourist would not know.
If you believe Jroa and I are derailing your thread please be clearer with what it is you are claiming.

Thats pure BS, and if you've ever been there you would know what it takes to get to the tip of cape york,  no way you'd ever mistake being somewhere else.

I am flattered that you guys believe tourism and tour guides are so credible, but it saddens me to inform you that it is not the case.

if a tour guide want to lie to be about the flowers i see, the history of a place, who has been there, whether cocaine was ever in coca-cola etc...sure they can get away with a lot knowingly and unknowingly.

If i am in Australia, and pay for a flight over Antarctica, and I get there in 3 hours and fly over this ice continent for several hours, I am not sure where else I could possibly be.

Unless the tourism company is on the conspiracy, they would  have no reason to lie to me and try to trick me.  Flying me over Antarctica would be easier than faking it. If they are involved, this is a huge risk to exposure.

We are not accepting what a tour guide says, just that the trip offered goes where it says it goes. Absent any evidence otherwise and the difficulty in the southern hemisphere to fake it,  why wouldn't we believe the flights go over Antarctica.

When the tour tells you are over Antarctica, you can verify with GPS your location. You can verify with a compass your direction of travel

If these are faked, again that means this tourism company is part of the conspiracy.

At this point the burden is on you to demonstrate why this is unreliable evidence that travel to the pole is possible, that no ice wall exists, and why everything observed conforms with RET and not FET. (Aether induced hallucinations?)

tappet apparently used to be shit tour guide, now he is really angry, therefore the south pole doesn't exist.

How are you guys not getting this argument?

Cape York isn't in Australia? Different Cape York? Is there a reason we should believe anything you say?

Not the ones who can read a map.

The south pole is in antarctica where the position of the sun  should be clearly indicated to anybody there throughout the  time of the tourist season everywhere in antarctica.
Did you even look at the opening post?

I wrote the opening post.

This is why I love this place! I was almost in tears after that setup, tappet; maybe you still have the magic gift of gab.

You see, this is derailing,
You would know your there because of the drive, really.
Lets put Ravzor in a chopper, blindfolded, remove the sign and drop him off there. Then tell him he is at cape Hillsborough, is he going to claim this is a lie and say" No I am Rayzor and I can tell this is the tip of Australia" sorry I think not.
By the way I live in Cape York.

Typical FNQ thinking,  You would have a pretty good idea from the length of time of the chopper ride  and the GPS on the phone would be a dead giveaway.

Here's a better way to test your idea,   you get blindfolded,  knocked out,   and dumped near the south pole.    What would you see that would prove your location,   no GPS this time.

There is daylight 24 hours of the day, the sun is moving horizontal to the ground,  and it's -10 C degrees in January.

Where do you think you are?

At no time have I claimed something does not exist e.g. south pole, Antarctica or a bloody 24 hour sun.
The OP was about south pole tourists. I personally don't believe tourism, tourists and or guides are scientific enough to be used as evidence to prove anything. Sure there are GPS, compasses even the sun in the sky people can use as tools but when push comes to shove I am not going to take anything from tourism as gospel.
Would I trust  somebody if they looked at my blood test results and said I need Lipitor because they were a tourist?
Of coarse not but they only need google to find the parameters.
You need to listen to the scientists they have the answers for you, us tour guides we are for entertaining people on holidays, nothing more.
