I could take anyone out to the middle of a snow desert and tell them that they are at the south pole.  Why would the "tourists" question where they are?

The only large flat snow desert in the southern hemisphere is Antarctica.

It is childishly simple to know which hemisphere we are in simply by seeing that the sun rotates around the sky differently to how we see it up north.

To continue the conversation and be able to waste more time, you will need to use another member name and ask the same stupid questions the membername Jroa was using.

Dont you guys have a manual on how to successfully troll here?
WTF are you banging on about?

What part is too complex for you?
I did not realise we had moved on from trusting a tour guide to take you to the south pole, to now comparing hemispheres.

You directed attention to Jroas stupid response and praised it.

Only a very poorly educated person can be at the north pole and think they are at the south pole.

Only a very poorly educated person can think they are in Antarctica when they are only in Canada, Russia, Alaska Scandinavia Iceland or any of the northern polar regions.
Your posts are so far off track here I do not know how to respond.
You may have to wait for somebody else to come along for you have lost me.

You directed me to a post claiming tourists were too stupid to know they were not in antarctica

Antarctica or south pole? Stupid.

You will need to explain that comment because i am too stupid to know what it means.

Where is the JROA snow desert on earth if it is not in Antarctica?

Where is the pole they are at if it is not in antarctica?

Why are the tourists going to be so stupid they cannot tell the difference??

He has absolutely no idea.  This is all an attempt to derail this by saying people are too stupid to realize where they actually are.  Too stupid to look at how the sun and stars are moving.  Too stupid to pay attention to what time it is.  Too stupid to question anything.  Apparently every person in the world who doesn't believe in a flat Earth is completely naive.

When pressed, he will squirm into the straw man stuff or he will insult and make out like you are the one lying.  Too bad for him, he will always live in his own world, missing out on life and natural beauty.  Simply because if the picture, or place he could go see doesn't agree with his world view, it is a lie.

Oh yeah, everyone is naive, but them, who believe all sorts of insanities like the nonsense that the Moon is a hologram and that flights are fake. Some even think people haven't been to Antarctica as it is the ice rim...Some believe there is no midnight Sun in the southern hemisphere...They just make up stuff to somehow confuse you. Sometimes people really get confused. Especially people who prefer not to think but believe instead. Who is the naive one then?

I do not have to, some body who knows what they are doing has already gone it.
What is interesting is that you are naïve enough to think it cannot be done or the world is so warm and fuzzy no one would lie to you. If you guys think tourism has some sort of ethical code to tell only fact or truth you are suckers and probably get stooged daily without being aware of what is happening.

Really?  Have you any evidence that the entire south pole tourist industry is a massive, ridiculous hoax?  You seem to be just flapping your gums.

And you have no evidence proving its not. Its tourism crabby. Not science, no peer reviews no doorbell prizes its just bloody entertainment for bored people called tourists. In tourism no one really gives a fuck whether its fact or not, the tour guide is happy when you are gone so he can sit down have a smoke and not look at you any more.

Well I do.  There are 10s of companies taking thousands of people of people every year - that is evidence in itself

Actually, there is a massive scientific research station there:

Thousands of scientists come and go during the year.

What a ridiculous generalisation.  For a start they usually give a fuck about been on the right continent....cos it's kind of obvious if you're not.

Quote
tourism no one really gives a fuck whether its fact or not, the tour guide is happy when you are gone so he can sit down have a smoke and not look at you any more.
What kind of tourism do you think it is there?  It's not just some bored student pointing at buildings and bullshitting, as it sounds like you used to do.  Although why should we believe you - you lie.

People are paying around $50,000 for 7 days, and the itineraries  are more like this:

Day 1 Punta Arenas – Antarctica
Fly by Ilyushin jet aircraft from Punta Arenas across the Drake Passage, beyond the Peninsula and over Ellsworth Land to a base camp at Union Glacier. The flight time is approximately 4.5 hours. Union Glacier camp is located 8km from the runway at the base of Mount Rossman. On landing, you will be directed to a heated passenger terminal where you will pick up a shuttle service to the camp. On arrival at camp you will settle in and enjoy a welcome meal.

Day 2 orientation at Union Glacier Camp, Antarctica
Your guide will brief you on logistics as well as environmental and safety considerations for your stay and you will tour camp to discover the intricacies of daily life in Antarctica. Your guide will let you know the range of activities that are available and will want to hear about your interests in order to tailor the daily programme to you.

Days 3-6 explore Union Glacier & Fly to the South Pole!
The flight to the South Pole takes approx 6 hours and will take place on the first day that weather and logistics permit. The remaining days will be spent participating in optional activities from Unioin Glacier, or simply enjoying the tranquillity and majesty of this incredible continent.

Your flight to the Pole affords views over a vast expanse of high polar plateau punctuated by the occasional field of crevasses. Landing at the Pole for your 3-4 hour visit you’ll experience temperatures ranging from -25 to -35°C. On arrival you will visit the USA’s Amundsen-Scott research station and will stand at the Geographic South Pole.

Your stay at Union Glacier can be as energetic or relaxed as you wish with activities on offer generally only limited by enthusiasm and imagination. Active pursuits include cross-country skiing, hiking, light climbing, overnight camping trips and snow-machine assisted tours taking you out into the scenic hills. They are complemented by more leisurely indoor activities including lectures about Antarctica and polar exploration. Photographers are sure to appreciate the unusual wind-sculpted snow features, ice pools, dramatic peaks, spectacular open skies and the golden light cast by the austral summer.

Day 7 Antarctica – Punta Arenas
Weather permitting, the aircraft from Punta Arenas will arrive in Union Glacier on the scheduled departure day for the final leg of your Antarctic journey, back over the ice to Punta Arenas.

orientation at Union Glacier Camp, Antarctica

In this MI5 made film you can see MI5 and Canadian Shills under contract to NASA who act for Flat Earth Central introducing themselves on the film set for Union Glacier where some of the largest mountains on Earth have been constructed from solid rock to add to the realism of the productions being sent all around the World by the thousands of shills being trained there.

In this video you can see NASA shills pretending to be mountain climbers who have flown into the Union Glacier flim set

Since the role of the tour guide and tourism has been elevated in credibility to the level of the white coats in recent times, it obviously brings all tours across the board to the same level.

It can be explained very simply. The south pole does not exist. Antarctica does not exist.
The tourist guides do not exist. The tourists do not exist. NASA has programmed the GPS to to an imaginary location of latitude and longitude to coincide with where the south pole and and antarctica would be if the earth was round according to round earth theory. It is all round earth imagination in contrast to the obvious  flat earth reality. The tourists have obviously been taken to some location that would correspond with the fake round earth map of Antarctica with the mountains, snow and ice that NASA has constructed and obviously where the ice wall and the connection where the ice dome and the ice ring meet at the horizon on the flat earth can not be seen . That is all that it takes. It is all part of the grand round earth conspiracy.

Elementary my dear Watson ! Simply flat earth logic. Tappett is right ?

How about if we all agree that any tour that you lead or are associated with in any capacity except as client, will be pure BS and a complete waste of time. Satisfied?

That seems a reasonable conclusion to draw from tappet's contributions to this conversation. I'm not yet convinced that applies to all other tours despite what he says. He brags about being an excellent bullshitter, after all. Has his pigeons clients in tears.

I am flattered that you guys believe tourism and tour guides are so credible, but it saddens me to inform you that it is not the case.
I am not arguing the existence or not of south pole/Antarctica or anything else.
I am trying to tell you that tourism/tour guides cannot be used as credible source for anything.
From what I have read here on this thread I can see you lot admire tour guides and I appreciate this but as I said sometimes we tell lies, so I hereby apologise for any illusions I have shattered.
Just a little tip here, to try to prove fact or fiction on a said topic, tourism/tour guides would not be my preferred evidence.
But hey, at the end of the day its your choice If you think the tour guide is above board, well good for you.

You and Jroa appear to be the only people here focusing on tour guides.  Tour guides are just an irrelevant distraction otherwise known as derailing

Tourists are not idiots.  If you pay $30,000 to fly to Antarctica for a few days you know you are expecting to see 24 hour sunlight  and an anticlockwise rotating sun.

The picture here is of tourists at the tip of cape York. Not of tourists in Australia.
This sign is often stolen in fact It could be placed anywhere along the coast the tourist would not know.

Misdirection again.   The south pole is in antarctica where the position of the sun  should be clearly indicated to anybody there throughout the  time of the tourist season everywhere in antarctica.

The picture here is of tourists at the tip of cape York. Not of tourists in Australia.
This sign is often stolen in fact It could be placed anywhere along the coast the tourist would not know.
If you believe Jroa and I are derailing your thread please be clearer with what it is you are claiming.

Misdirection again.
Whatever!

You left out this part of my reply:

The south pole is in antarctica where the position of the sun  should be clearly indicated to anybody there throughout the  time of the tourist season everywhere in antarctica.
Did you even look at the opening post?

I wrote the opening post.

How about you stop derailing and say something related to flat earth ideas in consequence to the thread so that something can be debated or you leave and play elsewhere?
