Too HIGH to LIE!
« on: November 01, 2014, 05:33:48 PM »
The Horizon is simply too high to lie, take this photo of the ISS spaceship that is level with the Earth with it's cameras pointed at the Earth it should look between it's level wings not at the same level as the entire spaceship! The Earth curves up, so the Earth curves up to the spaceship! This proves Earth curves up!

It looks like both of the superimposed horizons are curving down, not up, to me. What is this image supposed to be showing? At least one of them is watermarked Google earth with additional GE-type information. Is the other a photograph? Of what, a Soyuz capsule? From where? How do you know what is supposed to be level with whatever else? And what are the apparently random black lines supposed to indicate?

If the earth is curving up, why can't I see the earth curve up? This is what a person would see i the earth curved up.
The preview shows it as well as starting at 16 seconds.

You can see it curve up but not past your line of eyesight because also up curves down.

They are showing perspective of the same angle at the same height, one shows where it should be but the other shows where it is. Black lines show where the level should be so if it was a globe it should be slightly below this point but if it curves upward subtly it will be at the higher level.

What is this gibberish?  Up curves down?  What is that supposed to mean?

Also, how do you know where the camera was pointed?  How do you know that the camera wasn't aimed down towards the ground?

How should I, a random viewer of an image you posted, know what the angles or heights are? Angles of what from what? Even if one photo (or simulation) shows where something "is" how do you know where it "should be"? You provide no information at all other than an obviously composited image with some lines on it. How do I know the height of something is really the same height of something else? Why do you believe it is what you think it is?

"Up is down" sounds like something out of the movie Ghostbusters.

Up curves down, down curves up, both meet in the middle. I know the camera because it aligns with the craft. It's just geometry basically. It's the same when you look our your window the Earth curves up to your sight but the sky curves down to you. When on the Moon though I seen the videos and it looked like it had a downward curvature. Yeah the Moon is most definitely convex, also hollow, it only has 200 miles deep of land and then nothing but empty space underneath it's surface. Also seen Mars I did and seen that it also was convex. Actually I think all planets are convex, but Earth is not a planet, it's the casing of the entire universe.

No, you can't know how the ship is aligning with the Earth, therefore you can't know where the camera is pointing.

True I can't actually tell where the camera is pointing except by telling first where the horizon is leveled at but you can definitely tell the Earth curves up: " class="bbc_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">

The reason why the Earth is special is because the Earth is the Earth and the Heavens are separated layers of Earth stretched out into the abyss of space. Yea the Moon and every planetary body of heaven are layers of the Earth.

I demonstrate this in this image with mirrored planets and Earths to show similarity.

Also in this plane image the horizon is at 130 degrees or +52 degrees what it should be if we lived on a convex sphere.

Also take a look at this Moon/Mars/Earth sample and tell me why the cratering lines up across all bodies? It simply doesn't make sense if they aren't in-fact the same body or part of the same body:

Sounds like a good idea.

So you use the orientation of the camera to determine where the horizon should be.  You based this orientation of the camera on the orientation of the ship.  And then you figured out the orientation of the ship based on where the horizon should be?  Do you not see the disconnect here?

I believe that you have shown this image before.  And once again, how do you know that the camera wasn't pointed down at the console, or even the plane was doing a dive type maneuver?

Maybe because you lined the craters up to be in the same line?

I think those are actually antennas or possibly solar arrays.

As far as light bending, I'm not so sure light travels straight, I think it more-so travels in circular waves but slowly curves up. I'm not entirely sure but I am sure that what you see is not exactly what you get all the time. Background clouds can look lower in the sky but still be higher then foreground clouds elevation wise, this is what I'm talking about it's perspective, not all that bendy-light nonsense.

Sculelos, since when do you believe the ISS is real? That image from space looks totally like CGI. Even if it were authentic, you can't possibly know where the true horizon should be, because you don't know how the camera is pointed or the ISS itself for that matter, as it has been already suggested by others here.

Furthermore, when you said that if 'if it is up it bends down, and if it is down it bends up' you basically said that what we see in images is not real, and we cannot base any conclusions on them even if they are genuine and not fake.

Also, about the concave Earth theory, there is no meaningful explanation why we can see the Moon above the horizon, but we cannot see land which is 1000 km away in the sky above the horizon. What allows us to see the Moon, but prevents us from seeing continental land masses in the sky?

Not to mention that if Earth were concave you would be able to extend a pipe up into the sky and reach another city eventually.
