The horizon is where the sky meets the Earth's landscape.

Nope.  The "horizon" is the point(s) at which our vision perceives the limit of the spherical surface of the earth to be.  For the average adult human, the distance to the horizon is around 5km.  The sky has nothing to do with our visualisation of the horizon.

d2 = h2 + 2Rh
Where 'd' = distance to the horizon.

I can't believe the arguments you make.

Here your argument in reference to Aus's pic would be all good if humans were enormous giants 100's of miles tall.

Uh... sorry EarthIsASpaceship, but it seems you can't even comprehend a grade-school diagram that your average 12-year-old would understand.  My little sketch is what's known as diagrammatic.  That is, it's only an approximate representation of the science behind it.

I'm more surprised that you didn't complain that my little man seems to be about 2,000km tall LOL.

You gullible fool, the Lizardmen have been covering up the existence of giants for millennia.

Wake up!
Big Pendulum have their tentacles everywhere.

Is this what we've come to? Really? Also, yes, you're "looking down" when you look at any flat (or convex) surface that you're standing on. Of course the horizon is below you.
