Good old sceptimatic, pot calling kettle black.
One liner Rama. Always counted upon to jump right in to let me know about myself. Good on you kid.  ;D

Sorry that we do that. It's just very clear that you aren't aware of how crazy you are. So it's important to remind you. Especially considering that dome theories and the like don't exist anywhere but your mind. So your crazy mind is worth discussing if we talk about your hypotheses.

Scepti's mental state is actually the only thing worth discussing in his hypotheses because it is the only thing we have evidence for.
Well discuss it in the louge or angry ranting if you want to put your point forward aggressively.  ;)

Why?  I am serious.  When discussing your points the first question should be, "Can we trust your judgement?" because as we look back at your vast body of work, we see someone who is inconsistent sometimes to the point of incoherence, creates hypotheses, seemingly on the spot because "they make sense" to you, whatever that is worth, and like all good paranoids, believe you are right and everyone is out to get you.  You are the single largest source of error in everything you present.  I got angry when I first met you, but not anymore.  You are too repetitive to upset me anymore.
Repetitive eh? The only repetitive I see is the silly attempts are psycho-analyzing me, which fails every time but doesn't stop the repetitiveness from you and others.
Take a chill pill, relax and have a stiff drink. Put your feet up and learn from the best. Learn the reality of life and don't get stuck in the world of lies that you have been all your life.

ITT, the psycho being psychoanalyzed thinks he isn't psycho. That never happens.
What's the matter? Am I getting under you global Earther people's skin?
It's amazing how someone can be called a psycho for not believing something, isn't it?  ;D

If you don't believe in a globe people, you are a psycho. Remember that. If you don't follow what you are told to, you are deranged and have mental issues. That's the world we live in.

You keep assuming people are mad and angry.... definitely a sign that you are crazy.

Also, yes... if you don't understand that we live on a globe and if you are educated enough to understand the evidence as to why we actually do live on one, then yes.... you're a psycho.

sceptimatic continues to avoid posting real arguments. Nothing but ad hominems all day.

Hey, I admit to ad hominems too but at least that isn't my only trick,
Oh I've posted pages and pages of good info. All from my mind, not from books or pasted websites. I put a lot of effort into what I say. unfortunately I have to put as much effort into sorting you lot out and putting you in your place. I don't mind it though because some of you are showing signs of wear and cracking.
Your globe will be took apart in time. The mind is always switched on and the right click will out the truth, leaving you and the rest of the brainwashed to have no choice but to give your heads a real shake to wake up.

I admit, you've been pretty clever at coming up with things that might work for a scenario here and there but in every single case, one explanation breaks the other countless explanation you have to conjure up. It is a big jumbled up psychotic mess.

Frustrated and angry I would say. For definite.

Like I said, one day your mind will switch on when you are backed so far into the corner you will have no choice but to accept defeat or scuttle away with your tail between your legs.
You're weak. One of the weakest on here, if not THE weakest. Easy meat. A doddle. ;D

The strange part is, not one of you has ever managed to shoot down my theories. Not one.
You pretend you have but you all failed. This is why you're getting angry, because I'm one cookie that doesn't crumble easily.  ;)

That said, considering the moon revolves around the Earth in the same direction as the Earth spins, there is no reason to doubt the claim, especially when the experiment's been done more than once. You're talking as though the moon rotates in the opposite direction, in which case, sure, the beam would return much farther from the source than stated.
It doesn't matter if your moon rotates around the Earth. The fact is, if your Earth spins at 1038 mph at the so called equator, then a laser beam aimed at the moons so called retro reflector would miss the reflector due to the rotational speed of Earth is that 1.4 seconds it supposedly takes to reach it, because the laser is on the move in that 1.4 second time frame.

Why people hang onto this is baffling.
You see, now the argument is, "oh it spreads out and only one potion of it needs to hit", yet the dipsticks in the observatory go on like it's trying to find a needle in a haystack.

The trouble with blatant liars who get found out, is, they have to keep adding to the lies when flaws appear and they do this by adding in more and more in your face bull shit.

The laser beam has turned into basically shining a big super bright torch at the moon now, so it ceases to become a laser beam as we know it, because for it to stay a laser beam, as we know one, they know that the fake Earth spin story, nullifies the accuracy of a pinpoint hit.

If I believed in a god I would swear on a bible that there is no such thing on any so called moon and no such laser has ever been shone at anything of a body in space. The most that's ever happened is shining a laser into the sky and hitting the dome, then reflected back. I'm actually being kind in saying that.

Your spinning Earth destroys the moon bull shit, it's as simple and as plain as that.

Yes, even a pretty large circular area is a needle in a haystack when it's on a huge orb the 1/3 the size as the Earth.

Well, your disbelief in a god is you one saving grace. The rest of your belief system is shot to hell.

Argh... multi-quoting on this site SUCKS ASS. It's so damn cumbersome to do.

You don't even know what a photon is, except that you're told it's a photon. Stop blindly believing in crap and gain some factual knowledge.

"We" have actually demonstrated the existence of photons, even to the resolution of one single photo at a time. And yes, we're "told it's a photon" because that's the name given to the 'thing' we call a photon. Not hard to grasp, really.

Yeah, ok, I'll let you have your photon, just as long as you don't call it a particle of any description, fair deal?

There are no particles of light, it's all waves. It sort of wrecks your space but there you go.

I don't, because I know for a fact that it's lies at worst and brainwashed fantasy at best.

Funny how your 'knowing as fact' is completely devoid of credible evidence. While the RE'ers' 'knowing as fact' is backed by mountains of credible evidence, which is precisely WHY it is the prevailing model.

I mean, there are those crazy people who don't know they are crazy and you feel bad for them because you can see how sad it is, so then you either just let them be or you seek help for them.

But then there is you, a crazy person who thinks he's amazing and smarter than everyone else and spends all day telling everyone else that they are duped, mindless morons. That type of crazy person doesn't deserve any solace now does he?

You keep assuming people are mad and angry.... definitely a sign that you are crazy.
Fristrated and angry I would say. For definite.
Also, yes... if you don't understand that we live on a globe and if you are educated enough to understand the evidence as to why we actually do live on one, then yes.... you're a psycho.
Like I said, one day your mind will switch on when you are backed so far into the corner you will have no choice but to accept defeat or scuttle away with your tail between your legs.
You're weak. One of the weakest on here, if not THE weakest. Easy meat. A doddle. ;D

Demonstrably crazeee
That's better. Have a rest and calm down a little. Take off your sweater, it can accelerate the frustration and irritation.

Otherwise he might have a tantrum and delete all his posts... who would do that right?  It is just the internet... oh wait...
That's it Rama girl, you crank it right up.  ;D

Just saying.  No one here gets as demonstrably upset as you do.  It's all good though, being upset is just a sign of caring.
Well I am a caring person to the right people. You must be ultra caring.  ;D

Scepti's mental state is actually the only thing worth discussing in his hypotheses because it is the only thing we have evidence for.

ZING! And absolutely correct.

Argh... multi-quoting on this site SUCKS ASS.

Incorrect.  The photoelectric effect demonstrated the particle-like nature of light over 100 years ago.  Go recreate the experiments and see what you think.  They are not that complicated.

I agree with everything in this video up until the 5-minute or so mark—where the flat earth "pseudo-science" and faulty trigonometry kicks in.  Of course the diagram they show—the 90º view versus the 45º view appears OK at first glance, but... and it's a BIG but... they erroneously show the base of their right-triangle to be straight (as on a flat earth).  Not only is their triangle non-existent in the real world, but its alleged base would be curved upwards so as to follow the profile of the earth.  (So it can never be a triangle in actuality.)

Obviously, if the second observer is 3,100 miles distant from the first observer—over the curvature of the earth—then he's viewing the sun at a 45º elevation tangential to his position on the earth's surface, and not from a horizontal extension of the same tangent as the first observer's 90º viewpoint.

Flat earthers often get this sort of high school maths totally wrong;  is it intentionally meant to confuse the issue, or is it simply due to unintentional ignorance?

Is this not how we should treat crazy people?

I mean, there are those crazy people who don't know they are crazy and you feel bad for them because you can see how sad it is, so then you either just let them be or you seek help for them.

But then there is you, a crazy person who thinks he's amazing and smarter than everyone else and spends all day telling everyone else that they are duped, mindless morons. That type of crazy person doesn't deserve any solace now does he?
I've actually never called anyone a moron. I don't call people bad names. I don't need to. My superior presence is enough for people to assume I do all of this. I'm actually a patient forgiving person.
You can use whatever you have left in your weak armoury on me and you know I'll come back for more and smile. ;D

A little tip for you. Use angry ranting like I mentioned earlier and you can let it all out in there, with your sweater on if you want to.
Go on weakling, you know you want to.  ;D

I've never called anyone a moron OUT OF ANGER. I call people morons when they are morons. That's a lot different. It's sort of like how I call the earth round. An attribute of earth is that it is round so I solemnly utter, "hmmm, the earth is round". Similarly.... "hmmm, the sky is blue." Or.... "hmmmm, FE'rs are morons"

I'm not angry. You are though. Go ahead, throw the first punch.

To destroy your bull shit Earth I have to play by the bull shit rules of the silly calculations, which is why I used your silly speed of light and your silly moon distance.

I don't know how long it would take a laser beam to come back on my Earth because I've never fired one and neither have you.

A beam of light is only as strong as the power it gives out over distance, so your speed of light can drop right into the bin where it belongs.
Your little fake retro reflectors on your fake moon can all go back into the story book of fiction.

Grow up and stop believing in lies for crying out loud. You're old enough to know better but here you are arguing for liars.

So, once again sceptimatic embarrassingly illustrates his total lack of scientific acumen by simply regurgitating over and over that accredited scientific theories are just "bullshit" or "silly" or "fake" or "fiction".

Note that he HAS to accept round earth science—the distance of the moon from earth, and the time of the laser's round trip.  Why?

Because he HAS NO FIGURES OF HIS OWN DERIVED FROM THE FLAT EARTH HYPOTHESIS.

At least sceptimatic has been forced to admit that he does NOT "know how long it would take a laser beam to come back on my Earth"—which has to be considered, at the least, a small victory for round earth science.  We DO have an answer.

I'm sure that the many intelligent and well-educated flat earthers on these forum must be gritting their teeth watching their purported ally sceptimatic score more goals for the round earthers than his own team.

—Yours in laughter.
