A rock cannot be alive, so the measurments doesn't apply to it in the same way as humans. A rock never rots away like a dead human body would.

My bro and I just got our first tube amp. It's actually my brother's, but he's borrowed my 30-watt solid state so often that I think I'm owed some serious playtime on this baby. It's a 50w Peavey Valveking 1x12, like new off eBay. Sure, I'm a metal guy, and that isn't the most 'metal' amp in the world, but we've found some great tones already and it especially suits my brother's style (blues/prog/classic rock, a la Cream). If I absolutely need the Peavey's volume but a metal sound, I can just run my v-amp through the effects loop.

I've got a steady job that pays $10 an hour, plus commissions for finished files.
Most of the time, I am playing super metroid on my office computer, or browsing the FES forums.
However, I get hands on experience to better my future career.
Currently, I am getting close to $500 per closed file, and I close a file almost every week.  My usual bi-weekly check is $1400.  And I've begun looking into getting an emancipation so that I can begin investing in real estate as a legal adult.
And I'm only 17 years and 3 months old.

The guitarist for local band Beyond Decay plays a Valveking, and it sounds great.  Don't let these assholes that think they're "kvlt" tell you what is and isn't metal just because they're retards and don't really know anything about making music in the first place.

It's certainly usable for metal depending on what you play, but it isn't my type. My style is thrash or USPM and my 'brown tone' is on an Engl Savage, though I also like a lot of the tones Mesa rectifiers get. I'm not nay-saying the Valveking at all. It sounds great, even for some metal styles. It's just not, as far as metal, exactly what I'm looking for- fortunately it is exactly what my bro is looking for, and that's what matters since it's his amp :)

Ehhhh...I dunno about that.  I mean, sure you shouldn't choose your equipment just because someone else tells you it's what "metal" is, but the equipment definitely makes a difference; somehow, I don't see you getting tons of scooped mids out of a tube amp.  Course, it depends on the musician more than anything :P .

In that vein, I rock, because I just played a Quilted Mapletop Guild Peregrine, of which there are only 20 in existence. :D

Try doing this, set up for 2 players, but one person does not play.  If you can do this, you have beat me, as I have never been able to beat the final level of Halo2 in this manner.

That would be pretty hard, especially when you have to escort the Scarab.

I had to take turns on both controllers.

You cannot get married unless you are an adult, or you have your guardian's(') consent.

Of course, he is in Australia, so you'd have to ask an Australian for that.

That's controlled by the states, depending on the laws, the marriage could be legal, but to consummate it would not.

Also means you could legally be married, travel to another state and have your spouse arrested for statutory rape and corruption of a minor.

or you could ask a british person.  they have the same rights as australians, afterall we did give them our stamp of approval as i've mentioned on this site as some point before.  but yeah, it is legal for a 17year old to get married, but that doesnt make it right cos then you'd be tied down to the same person until one of you die, which could take some time.  don't rely on fate to do stuff for you, just take her out (not on a date, i mean more along the lines of destroying her) then do what you want, just as long as its legal.   you dont want to be breaking the law cos that would be wrong.

Another whinging pom that doesn't realise that while we share the same head of state (ie Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, Queen of Australia and Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth ...who we will hopefully be rid of by the time the next millenium comes around - c'mon 3K), we are independant countries. Your laws don't matter in Australia - we have our own.

But that's beside the point (which is of course besides the original point), anybody can find out about Australian laws - they're on the web. I'm fairly certain that marriage is not a federal matter so you'd have to look up a specific state to find the right answer.

I believe it's legal at 17 in most states, possibly with parental approval in one or two.

I say go for it dude, if it doesn't work out, who cares? unless you are a practicing theist, what do you have to worry about?

On the flipside, at least make sure you know her pretty well.
