For the sake of humanity, please...
« on: April 08, 2014, 01:15:13 PM »
...please do not attempt to pass this "knowledge" down to your children. I really wish I could believe that you "Flat-Earthers" are just dedicated & relentless trolls, but I have my doubts. If you are really stuck with such a paranoid personality that you are unable to acknowledge and accept widespread facts, that is absolutely fine by me. All I ask is that you please, please do not try and feed this to your children. Let them think and decide for themselves. You will only be slowing down the progress of humanity even more than you already are, and setting them up for bullying & embarrassment. I'm terribly sorry that you are all stuck with this ridiculous flaw in your logic. I wish you all the best of luck, and hope you all get better soon. Thank you!

I plan to pass the truth to my children, as well as nieces, nephews, and my friends' children as well.

You're going to pass down the truth? Ok, thank God! You had me worried. I was concerned you all would be spreading around this flat-earth nonsense and raising new lunatics. Thanks!

My children are home-schooled to protect them from government lies. I'm afraid one day they will realise how awful the world is. Hopefully I will have trained them in survival techniques so they do not need to swallow CIA lies.

Oh well, at least you paranoid retards only make up about .001 percent of the population. Also, the earth isn't flat, it has hills and mountains and shit, so either way your argument is invalid.

It doesn't matter jroa, even when given the specifics as to how a number is calculated, you'll claim it's faked

People seem to be throwing about this 99.999% very much lately.
I wonder where it comes from.

The REers told me it was 300 FEers  and my uncle the Muslim who also thinks the earth is flat out of a population of 7,000,000,000 equates to 99.999% thinking the earth is round.
Now that makes sense, maybe, I think, don't know, does it?

I think that while saying 99.99% is not accurate, it should have crossed your mind that this was perhaps an underlining statement, not statistical fact.
As in: FES is a massive minority.

We're not, though.
I wouldn't consider ~1/4th of Americans and ~1/3rd of Europeans to be a "massive minority".
Isn't the phrase "massive minority" kind of an oxymoron anyway?

~1/4th of Americans and ~1/3rd of Europeans do not believe the earth is flat.  This is absolute bollocks.

That is the number who are mistaken as to whether the earth rotates around the sun or vice versa.    It has nothing to do with the shape of the earth.

Please stop dishonestly quoting it.

PS. when did you go flat earthy?  What is jroa paying you?   I might be interested if the fees are good.  Though it seems to involve doing a lot of lying, and I could have gone into marketing if I wanted to do that.
