The Earth is not a planet, since a 'planet' wanders and the Earth does not wander anywhere.
Does it just sit there or is it constantly acceleration to where?

Ha ha... this is precisely the sort of predicament the flat earthers often find themselves in.  One claims the earth is stationary, and one says it's accelerating "upwards".

      ;D

Whereas EVERY round earther agrees absolutely on an oblate spheroid earth model, with an elliptical orbit around the sun, which itself has a circular orbit around the centre of the galaxy.

Only scepti claims it is stationary because of his ridiculous denpressure.
