From the site:

"One of their number, who called himself Grigori Efimovich, would later be known to the rest of the world as Christopher Columbus. Using an elaborate setup involving hundreds of mirrors and a few burlap sacks, he was able to create an illusion so convincing that it was actually believed he had sailed around the entire planet and landed in the West Indies. As we now know, he did not. What Efimovich actually did was sail across the Atlantic Ocean to a previously undiscovered continent, North America, and even then only to a small island off the coast. It took him several years more even to "discover" his blunder and claim it as a " . . . new world". But the damage had already been done, and mankind entered into what we now call its "Dark Ages""

lol, you roundies are so gullible.  That other website is a joke.  Just read the disclaimer.

Nor is the Flat Earth Society responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican, or for the unfortunate enslavement of the Nabisco Inc. factory employees by a rogue hamster insurrectionist group. Both websites seem to apply the same amount of rational thinking.

Which is very little.

Who applies more thinking, the person who questions what they are told or the one who believes it without question?  Questioning the shape of the earth is clearly the scholarly path.

It is one thing to question it, and something else entirely to go into denial when any sort of evidence is brought forth, or queries to provide data.

It is one thing to question. But the scholarly path is usually to question the evidence and do research on the sources for the evidence and research the validity and proof of the evidence. This is certainly the case in the shape of the earth. There is an abundance of references for evidence and proof of that evidence for the shape of the earth as it is truly the spherical shape that it is. That is what studies on the subject are all about.

And there is definitely no evidence nor proof of evidence for validity of any evidence for a Flat Earth.

FE's can consider  me a highly opinionated RE but the impression I get is that nothing on this website will be accepted as valid information by FE's unless it would be references to a book written by Samuel Rowbotham and that everything else including textbooks on sciences such and physics and geographic information and those written by scientists are fakes.

Of course it is a foregone conclusion that both sites are a joke.
IMHO I think the difference is that the Alaska website does not make any pretense of being serious  while this website makes a pretense that it is serious but succeeds in being nearly as funny if you have to make a comparison.
Common sense is out of the question in making any sense of either of them and which is funnier just depends on your view of what is funny to you.

You just follow some other people's opinions, they are just alternative opinions, but still not your own. Who applies more thinking, understanding how a sunset works or thinking a sunset is caused by dust particles?
