Imagine not believing anything around you? Imagine a life like this. He probably doesn't even trust that is car speedometer is telling the truth. "How do I know I am going 55 mph?"

I always double check my speed with my TomTom.
You trust GPS? ???

No, I check to see if it is accurate, and usually, it is not.

I live below the busiest airspace in the world - I think I would notice if all the planes were breaking the sound barrier.

Of course they slow down before they stop.  But, over the ocean where there are no speed limits, how do we know how fast they actually go?
Ah, right.  They are all sneaking out to sea to break the sound barrier, then slying slowing right down before they go over land.   Just to fool people into thinking they travel half the distance?  To you ever consider how insane you sound when you spout this shite?

Aside from anyting else, unless they are designed to break it, commercial aircraft would fall to peices first.

I'll try this question again:

"Are you suggesting there is a mass cover up of actual airlcraft speeds?  All the airlines, all the engineers, all the air traffic controllers and aircraft manufacturers on the planet are all conspiring to cover up the fact that the planes all travel twice as fast as they say?"

Like most conspiracy whakos, you are long on innuendo, short on facts.

I suspect none.  These so called satellites do not exist.

So you use a TomTom GPS, it will show the number of satellites with a fix, how inaccurate is the location?

Please explain how it is not accurate.  Not the routes, but the speed and location information.

I have always found the speeds on my GPS to be always correct. Better get yours repaired.
jroa is just being evasive as usual, though.
Getting back to the OP. For that matter, how about distances from any place in the southern hemisphere to any other place in the southern hemisphere.......Oops !.........Mistake ! I meant the southern hemiplane in FE language.

You double check things with things that you know are wrong?  How does that work out for you?

My GPS is now several years old now. But it has always shownbeen accurate and shown  my exact location and my exact speed at all times.
Granted this has always been on land and in my car or on a few trains.
