I live below the busiest airspace in the world - I think I would notice if all the planes were breaking the sound barrier.
Of course they slow down before they stop. But, over the ocean where there are no speed limits, how do we know how fast they actually go?
Ah, right. They are all sneaking out to sea to break the sound barrier, then slying slowing right down before they go over land. Just to fool people into thinking they travel half the distance? To you ever consider how insane you sound when you spout this shite?
Aside from anyting else, unless they are designed to break it, commercial aircraft would fall to peices first.
