Distance from Cape Town to Sydney Australia in the Flat Earth.

I found the non stop flight from Cape town to Sydney Australia.http://www.travelmath.com/flying-time/from/Sydney,+Australia/to/Cape+Town,+South+Africa
The travel time is about 14 hours 13 minutes. Removing 30 minutes for take off and landing it make for flying time of 13 hours 43 minutes or about 13.75 hours. As indicated the flight speed is 500 mph. If you take 500 times 13.75 it gives 6875 miles. I measure the distance from Google earth and it came to 6850 miles. As far as I am concert that is the right and accurate distance. Show me on the FE map the distance of 6850 from "Cape town to Sydney Australia". If You can't then you have serious thinking to do about your flat earth.

There are some FE's who claim they don't even have an FE Map.

On flights they often say the speed.  Or see flightradar24.

I always double check my speed with my TomTom.

If airlines could fly that fast the would break the sound barrier. Only jets can do that. I thought you would know better since you were in the military. Airlines don't fly that fast and the website calculates the flying time because it know the distance. The distance stays the same. i know that 95% of airlines fly from 500 to 550 mph.

Are you suggesting there is a mass cover up of actual airlcraft speeds?  All the airlines, all the engineers, all the air traffic controllers and aircraft manufacturers on the planet are all conspiring to cover up the fact that the planes all travel twice as fast as they say?

All aircraft are design to operate to the purpose it was intended to do. The concord was meant to operated above the sound barriers and fighter jets do also. The wings are design to do so. Airlines are design to carried people not to fly supersonic. The wing would break apart.

Some years ago, may not still have it.  It was a small plane on an inland flight, so only about 300mph.  So why is there doubt about aircraft speed?

I thought we were debating international flights?
