You got a ban because you were posting hateful things about Rowbathem just to get a rouse out of the FE'ers.  You were asked to stop, and were warned that if you continued, you would get a ban.  The mod that banned you even asked you to make a new thread and he would gladly debate with you about Rowbathem's credentials.  I know you are going to lie and deny this, but I saw it.  Instead, you kept making posts that did nothing but attempt to draw FE'ers into an argument.  Then, you plead to mods because you claim you did not receive a warning.  This is horse shit and you know it.

To anybody taking the time to read this rubbish from jroa, please make it be known that I WAS NOT ONCE WARNED by ski or any other moderator to cease and desist.

And now a moderator accuses ME of lying as a feeble attempt to save face.  Pathetic.

(PS:  This incident had NOTHING to do with me crticising Rowbotham.)

It seems that all the moderators here are tarred with the same brush?

Do you really want to challenge me that you did not receive a warning?  Seriously, were you drunk at the time?  Ski told you to knock it off.  You kept going.  He said he was going to ban you, and you did not stop.  You have got to be either trolling, lying, or you are just stupid.  What part of, "make a new thread and I will debate you there.  This is off topic for this thread" do you not understand?  What part of, "if you continue like this, I will ban you" do you not understand?   I am starting to lean towards the stupid part.

Wait why would you ban Sceptomatic? Don't you think he is totally classic? The guy is so off the charts, it's hilarious. Obviously the Flat Earth Theory is absolute nonsense. So the debate is inherently ridiculous. Banning someone for being ridiculous on an actual forum where we debate if the Earth is flat or not and if the Earth moves upwards instead of gravity, seems counter productive. This site is absolute madness. Don't ban the Mad Hatter!

ausGeoff,

Why are you here? This forum seems to infuriate you beyond belief. If the Flat Earth Society got under my skin the way it has got under yours, I wouldn't have anything more to do with it. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm suggesting a solution to a problem.

Leave, don't waste any more time and reestablish your emotional equilibrium.

I like AusGeoff. I learn a lot from him. He will have to stay. If someone who does not contribute the site is scepti  He is a total denialists.

You are out of your mind Starman.  He contributes much more than you do.  And as far as denial....all of us FEs deny a spherical Earth.

I've got a suggestion for you AusGeoff, why don't you go here:
http://www.tfes.org/
That way you won't have to deal with Scepti anymore.  He doesn't post there.  Either do I.

This site is not a job. We each are here for different reasons. I like to study the mind. The more you dislike me the more information I get.

Yeah, I study the mind too.  I find that most people don't care if they live in a box as long as they get their fix of whatever it is they're addicted to.  As for me, I want to get outside of the box and see what's beyond it.

That is the difference between RE and FE. Their box is contained. The ice wall, reflections, no universe and for scepti in a cell with denpressure.

As a fellow round earther, I appreciate your concern for my mental health, but you need to understand that I actually get more out of this forum than I lose.  It certainly stimulates the old grey matter if nothing else LOL.  And for the majority of the time, the specific points of contention are debated in a relatively logical and rational manner.  That is, until the resident scientific ignoramus sceptimatic dips his oar into the intellectual waters.

My major complaint with alleged flat earthers such as sceptimatic is that they seem intent on disrupting any intelligent cross-flow of information and ideas between genuine flat earthers and round earthers.  And which is why I'm intrigued as to why his continual and willfully provocative posting behaviour hasn't earned him a permanent ban.

As a fellow round earther,

This statement seems a bit nuts to me. Are 7 billion people in your club?

And for the majority of the time, the specific points of contention are debated in a relatively logical and rational manner.  That is, until the resident scientific ignoramus sceptimatic dips his oar into the intellectual waters.

It is rare than any of these Flat Earthers debate anything logically. What are you talking about? You think these are all rational discussions until he came along?
