Here is sceptic comment about viewing the following videos:

"I hope you are winding me up with this shower of absolute crap.
And you think they sent this piece of garbage to targets. Come on man, you surely aren't this naive."

Now I am sure that there are people on this site from England that their fathers and grandfathers that can attest to this event.

Look, I'm not sure it's worth getting another thread going for scepti to shit all over.  Next he will deny WWII happened, then deny Germany exists and eventually he will deny we exist.

The guy is a Solopsist who doesn't get much love in real life, so craves attention on internet forums.

Here is a definition of a Denialism: "In science, denialism has been defined as the rejection of basic concepts that are undisputed and well-supported parts of the scientific consensus on a topic in favor of ideas that are both radical and controversial."

I don't mean to be disrespectful to scepti but this is how I see him. It is sad because there are so many exciting things to be studied and discovered every day and some people (not just him) just don't have that capacity. I use a saying to people that start learning computers: "There will be a point where you will know just enough to be dangerous". This applies to some people in the learning process of science. They will have some good knowledge of science but miss lots of important concepts to make it all work. An example is the V2 rocket in this thread. If you have a good understanding of rocket engines it is easy to go to the next step of understanding the whole rocket. Another example is a top fuel dragster. It can go to 0 to 336mph in 3.72 seconds. " class="bbc_link" target="_blank"> The science to accomplish this is unbelievable. What they did not say it that the engine has more than 10000hp. That in itself is amazing. If you don't have a scientific mind you will NEVER appreciate any of this. You just a s well stay in your room and play with your coloring book.

I'm guessing that sceptimatic is actually suffering from the Dunning-Kruger Effect:

It's defined as "a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability to recognize their own ineptitude."

And from what I've seen here, that's sceptimatic to a "T".  LOL.

Thank you. That is another new thing I learned  today.

And something else I've learned from this is that when it comes to the crunch, sceptimatic invariably lacks any viable evidence to support his fanciful notions.

When he's lost for an answer, he usually—as he did with this issue—simply says it's "crap", "it's all bullshit" or it's "garbage".  You know..... all those sorts of logical and articulate and well-considered reasons to disagree.

If you read back through any of these threads, you'll more often than not discover that these puerile sorts of responses are the norm for sceptimatic as soon as the discussion turns towards anything of a true scientific bent.  If it's real science, then sceptimatic simply throws the pseudo-science switch in his brain.

Which is why I've often wondered if in fact he's simply a major TROLL pissing himself laughing at the round earthers' attempts to engage him in some sort of meaningful scientific debate.

Who knows?
