Does Flying Around the World in 1 Direction Prove the Earth is Round?

Here is your string around the globe. It does not matter where you place it it will always go around the same spot.

If you don't cross the equator at least twice you are are not traveling in a straight line. The discussion is about traveling in a straight line "not in a circle"

I said 50 times that wasn't the debate and it is not about going East or West. It is about going around the globe if you go straight without turning, while maintaining same altitude the entire time. That was the point! I keep saying forget the compass. You can fly from any point on the Earth and keep going in a straight line without turning and you will end up where you started. That is what we have been saying. Not about East and West. Before in one post I mentioned going East but what I meant was going in one direction.

So now you will still ask, "so do you admit if you go East you need to turn if you are off the equator?"

YES! YES! YES! We already established that North is in relation to the North Magnetic Pole. If you only go East and you are in Canada, going East,East East, and want your compass fixed to East you will turn. Because you will need to stay equidistant to the Magnetic Pole that makes your compass point to North.

BUT... if you throw away the compass and you keep going on and on without turning, you will end up where you started in a round Earth. If it were a Flat Earth planes would have to do sharp turns like making a turn in a parking lot. The planes are not making sharp turns. ROUND EARTH YOU CAN GO WITHOUT STEERING AND WRAP AROUND THE EARTH.

Its silly, but he's right, if you want to travel east to west, you ought to be travelling parallel to the equator; the equator is strictly the only way you can travel from east to west on the earth in a great circle.

PS. it still falsifies FE, if there is even one instance where there is a great circle.

If you mother fuckin fly a plane straight from any point on the Earth. You do not turn, but you keep same altitutde the entire time. Do not deviate, do not steer. Just go straight. Not including head winds, you will wrap around the Earth and end up where you started. Don't believe me? Map out points along the planet according to a globe and buy plane tickets and you can do this.

If the world was flat you could not end up where you started without turning. It would be like driving around a circular parking lot. you would have to do lots of sharp turns. Pilots and aviation engineers would have realized this by now. They are not making these sharp turns, they are going mainly straight unless they have to veer for other reasons.

The world is therefore ROUND!

There was a flight in 1965 where he flew around the north and south pole and wrapped around the globe.

Go talk to an international commercial pilot. He will tell you this too.

Nobody is flying the world like you circle a parking lot.

Not only is the world round, there is absolutely no reason to even suggest the world is flat and no reason whatsoever an elaborate hoax of this degree would be created. It offers the powers that be no advantage to having a secret flat Earth. If we all though the earth was flat, then we would just think that was normal.
