Now why would I say it's less effective?
Have a word will you.

I have no idea why you might, but I still also have no idea what you're trying to get at witht he point that during ww2 we had radios.

Radios now are more advanced plus TVs with HD and color pictures.  Not to mention communication betwen any two places in the world via satellite and fibre cable.

Did anyone explain where the GPS transmitters are, with some typical verified locations?

Stratellites could easily take the place of satellites. And could be responsible for GPS signals in the oceans.

Not with the publicly available GPS algorithms.

GPS is fake. Your GPS receiver is programmed at the factory. It is just running through a sequence. I've seen monkeys do the same thing.

that's implausible, devices that small wouldn't have enough storage space for such a program, it's ridicules.

Is this intended to be a serious response?  I'm having a bit of difficulty here sorting the genuine comments from the frivolous LOL.

Are you disputing the fact that monkeys can be trained to do the same thing? So you don't believe in evolution?

I'm not sure we have enough time before the sun burns out to train and evolve monkeys to fly around sending telepathic directions to other monkeys that sit on your dashboard.

So no explanation on how GPS works?

So no explanation on how GPS works?

A coded signal is sent out by transmitters and received by your GPS receiver.  The receiver then calculates your position based on an algorithm.

Where are the transmitters? My GPS shows them moving across the sky.

Your GPS shows an animation of something on screen, it does not show anything moving across the sky.
An old space invader game shows lots of alien ships coming down, it doesn't mean they are in the sky.
Yeah it sounds silly but that's basically what you are implying.

So where are the transmitters, given that it works in the air, on land, and over sea?

I feel like the likely answer to where the signals come from would be ground based transmitters.  Others might claim otherwise, but this is the most likely to me.

Funny how we can tell where the signals are coming from. Guess what they come from space.

So the fact that we know several countries have launched satellites and many companies in different countries make receivers with published specifications makes your theory seem dubious.

Leave it to the big people, because it wasn't a music quiz. Like I say, leave the grown ups to look at it and you play with your crayons, there's a good kid.  ;)

Yes.  GPS works where there are no masts.  Eg in the middle of oceans.

Please tell us some masts with GPS transmitters.

Your radio works where there appear to be no masts, so what's your point?

I love how the ability to determine the exact direction a satellite signal is coming from is just being ignored. It's really easy to do, so easy that a child could do it, and there's just no way the signal direction could be replicated by a ground-based source.

Come on then Mr clever, tell me how you know where the signal is coming from and by what means so a kid can do it.

A lot of question marks. Aren't you sure of what you are saying or are you just saying things for effect. If so, it has no effect.
Try explaining how you find where the signals are coming from. You know, in kid like terms, as I was told a kid can do it.

A kid can't make a roast dinner or a quad core processor for my computer. does that mean its not real? Some things in life require more than a 2 year olds level of understanding. All the things I posted thier can independently verify the existence of satilites let alone once they are combined.
