Moving to a new server today..

Just a quick heads-up: we're finally moving to the new server.  The forums post database was initially moved a few weeks ago so we'll lose a bit of content.. but at least the errors and bandwidth issues will be a thing of the past.

With the new site up and running, I'll also be adding thousands of pages of new documents from the Samuel Shenton archive.

I wouldn't call a month and a half "a bit of content". I don't suppose there are any plans to update the database as part of the move?

I'm sure those will make up for the thousands of lost posts from the people who come here every day.

Wow. Currently, depending on pure chance, you may hit the new website or the old one because Daniel doesn't understand how the Internet works.

I must congratulate the administration on one of the worst-orchestrated migrations I have ever seen. It really requires a special type of skill to get things this wrong. Well done.
