redirect after posting is wrong

After creating a post why does the page redirect to the forum instead of the thread that I actually I posted on. Everybody likes to proof read their post and check for mistakes so this just creates an additional step.

Sort it out non-super admins.

Go to Profile - Modify Profile - Look and Layout and tick the box next to Return to topics after posting by default , Dickface.
