Well you still didn't explain how the FE FAQ isn't just a general statement. You claim mine is well so is yours.
Umm...Yes...The fact that gravity is a force that pulls things together, in order for it to form a cube, it would have to have weak spots of the unusual force in the center of it, in order to form the shape of a cube. Also, this would mean that subsequently at the corners, people would probably weigh about half as much as at the middle of the side, which, obviously, is not true.Through simple postulatory logic, you can figure that none of what you're saying is logical. Also, I know this is just a joke, poking fun at the Flat Earth Theory, but this theory is nowhere near as thought out as the FE Theory, therefore you fail.~D-Draw
Quote from: "phaseshifter"When you make a website, or anything else for that matter (cult, religion political party, clan, discussion group ect.)People will expect you to be able to prove that your point of view is not bullshit.Ex:. People go into a cardgame forum and ask, "Hey guys, show me why you think Vampiric dragon is not a tournament worthy card" and people will explain with playtests results and game theory why it isn't.This isn't the same thing.Think of it this way, if you started a forum called "The round Earth society" and someone came to the forum and said "You are wrong, Earth is flat", should you have to prove them wrong? Or is it their job to show why they're right?Because, honestly, you don't care that they disagree with your theory, unless they can offer evidence to show that they're right.

Gravity naturally pulls objects into spheres....Your wrong, can you show evidence of this?
Quote from: "Earthisround99"Gravity naturally pulls objects into spheres....Your wrong, can you show evidence of this?Go to California. Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park. Look for the ride "Superman" - it shoots you up a tower high enough that when you're heading down, you will spend 6 seconds in zero gravity - de facto.Spit.Your spit will pull itself together in a round ball.
Doesn't it.
- - - - -- - - - -
Your spit doesnt go into a ball due to gravity, its goes into a ball because of the fluid dynamics, first a very small amount comes out, then more, then the most, then less, until none, Code: [Select] - - - - -- - - - - looks spherical enough to me
Note that I used the term"prove that your point of view is valid" as opposed to proving people wrong. If I made a website about anything, I would EXPECT people to question anything that I state, that would seem contrary to popular beleif. And yes, it is the same thing. Any forum or website is subjected to this. Just look around.Unless the forum was started under the assumtion that it's views were false, it has the responsibility to be able to support them.I don't see how it's "not the same thing"

We are growing with a Rational idea. People are realizing the FE model is BS.
That idea was clever about 5000 tries ago.
Okay Rossk now the "Earth is a cube" group has three members.
You also haven't seen a single (original) topic which hasn't been answered by FE's.
Gravity naturally pulls objects into spheres....
When melted lead is dropped down a shot tower, the small parts become perfect spheres. Don't believe me, look it up.
If the Earth was flat, there would be no gravity.
The Earth has to be a sphere if it orbits the Sun (do you believe that, or are you living in the past and also think everything revolves around the Earth?).
