Looking down at the terminator
« on: July 01, 2013, 01:11:58 PM »
edited because I'm not so sure of myself.  I'm trying to decide if this is the terminator or the edge of earth and space.

Are you finally admitting that the terminator is indistinguishable from what you expect the earth to look like? Tom and I have been telling you that for years and you scoffed.

Um... not at all. I know there's a physical difference between earth and space in the pictures and i know there's a difference between night and day on earth. I haven't seen much of the latter photographed from ISS so yes I second guessed myself but I'm not confused about how the earth looks.

The edge is the blueish glow, you can see it in the upper right of OP picture.

Here it is on the left with large, not-abrupt terminator in the center.

P.S. you should respond to me in the other thread!

How come they never talk to the astronots who constructed the space station and stories about its construction plus video of its construction...

It just there like viola ... i dont think so... this would be one of the most interesting construction videos/ stories ever and yet nothing but guitars being played inside it

If you cannot tell the difference, how do you know there is a difference?  :-\
