Many people say they've invented free energy machines. If this is so I think the only proof they need is to post their 0 dollar, or negative amount electric bill. I mean if they have a machine that can produce electricity for free, why haven't they used it to at least get rid of their electric bill. They claim that their work isn't used elsewhere because of evullll corporations wanting monies, but there would be nothing stopping them from using it at home.

Thoughts anyone?

I'm not saying it would be proof. I'm saying the fact that they have food in their larder proves they do need to eat.

I may have worded it wrong, I guess what I'm saying is they are all still paying electric bills, not that the lack of an electric bill would be absolute proof. It would just be a better start than the youtube videos they make.

(also your argument is non analogous because you can get food from many other places than your pantry, electricity on the other hand is much more tricky/expensive that way. I rarely have food where I live)

You assume that their free energy machines would produce enough excess energy to power their entire houses. As far as I know, most of these machines are tiny wooden contraptions that can allegedly spin forever - hardly good enough to power a light bulb.

I read about these last year and watched a view videos.  The general consensus is that they are mostly, if not all, scams.  A lot of marketing fluff, even alleging that one can "sell" energy back to the energy company.  I haven't seen any real-world occurrences of it actually working though.

Yes you could. Again my statement more has to do with the fact that the makers of these machines ARE paying electric bills. Something that can be looked up and checked.

Where I live, if you generate excess electricity, say through a solar panel.  You are reimbursed for what you generate, so you never need to disconnect.

I overpaid my electric bill for a couple of months so I expect to have a couple of negatives coming my way.

Does poor domestic accountancy count as a free energy source?

There will never be free energy even if it was possible. As soon as anyone discovered how to do it, they'd patent it and license it out so that the end user still had to pay for it.

Thork, you are equivocating. 1) it would still be free energy, because the energy does not waste. 2) it would still be free energy, because it would be the service which would cost money, not the energy.

1) That kind of free energy does not exist because it busts the laws of thermodynamics.
2) As an end user it is not free and the people that control energy would never allow it to be.
