or, you could just answer all of them, and actually take your time in your answers.  Seriously 3 questions aren't even that tough to answer.  Deal with it.  Like i said before, half of you guys are just dodging the question.  Take one for your cause and answer it so we dont have to have this kind of debate!

The OP has eleven questions. As this thread grows it's going to become even harder to follow for anyone who wants to answer the questions. Separate threads would allow for better discussion and better answers as it would be more focused.

Just like to point out that if anyone started a new thread with one question someone will (probably, as in most cases) say "ALREADY ASKED REPEAT THREAD LOCK THIS ONE MODS GOSH U MORON USE THE SEARCH OMG GTFO" or something like that.

You could have just said " i am only going to choose one question to answer.  Instead you just picked the one on polaris and completely disregarded the rest. Not as much as " I will answer this in a different thread if this is the only question being asked.

Then make new threads or questions you want answered. No one is obligated to come and answer every single question asked. A thread for a specific question makes it easier for someone to come in and answer it. Trying to answer a wall of unrelated questions and further questions that get piled into a thread make it more confusing and harder to follow. Making a new thread takes no more effort than to complain about not receiving full answers.

Maybe you should go read my post, because I did exactly what you just suggested. I would have expected the Michael Jordan of Science to have less errors.

Understand, Michael. We don't care what you think of us. You are going to leave this forum. Most likely within the next few days, or you might last months. This post might influence the length of your stay. And when you leave, you're going to tell your friends about the crazy Flat Earthers and how irrational they are. It doesn't matter what we do. Why on Earth, be it round or flat, should we bend over backwards to please someone who will not be pleased anyway?

michael had something to say, and finished with a challenge that seemed to indicate that he was intending more than eventually transpired.

Maybe the challenge he accepted was leaving the forum and such. That's how I interpreted it anyways, especially since that post was his last bit of activity on the forum.

It was off-topic and added nothing to the discussion.  You didn't need to revive an essentially dead thread to point out that a typical fly-by-nighter is no longer here.  Also, this is not the place to dispute moderation.

i'm new here, but i've already noticed an inordinate number of annoying people who arrive, post a brief series of pretty shallow objections that even i can see have been answered over and over, and then flounce off. i'd treat them somewhat brusquely as well.

roundy, i apologize for sounding presumptious here. but i frequently express myself in ways that seem to violate a local culture that values a form of expression that occasionally seems pretentious to me.

i'm still learning the forum culture here, so i will try to be more cognizant of what seems to be frivolous to long-time posters and what doesn't.

no offense meant.
