Is this one of those places where if you don't have something useful to say you should not say anything?  Anyways, I kind of think that Nimp is an alt, because he really never comments in his own threads, which is somewhat odd.  Why start something that you don't want to be a part of?

I don't understand the issue. He creates threads with debatable topics and everyone hates him? It doesn't matter if the OP participates, maybe he's just curious about other people's opinions. Please stop being whiny sandy crotches.

That's true, but the threads he creates aren't about big controversies that opinion is divided on, they're about dumb (and obviously contrarian) assertions he makes in the OP and challenges us on.  There is no debate on subjects like "Would You Give Your Job to a Black Person" and "Letting people play as Nazis in a game,"  unless the OP actually provides one.  There is only the reaction.

It's not a huge deal, and if there are people here who actually like Nimp and don't want him gone, that's fine with me.  I had honestly thought that everyone else was as sick of his idiotic shenanigans as I was.

Even if we all disliked him (I don't care one way or another really) do you honestly believe that warrants a ban? Is there a rule about making poopy threads that I'm not aware of?

And jroa, you have no idea whether or not he ignores replies. Maybe he likes being a debate moderator rather than debater. Just because he doesn't respond doesn't mean he's not interested in the topic and how people feel about it.

Srsly though, his threads aren't that bad. The OP is usually idiotic, but we've managed to turn some of them into interesting discussions. As long as he isn't flooding, crap spamming, or breaking rules in some other way, he shouldn't be bammed.

Yeah, I don't really see what the big deal is. If shit content was a bannable offense, we would have had to ban Saddam a hundred times over. And Nimp's threads do evoke discussion, it's not just spam.

I don't have to like Nimp to not want to ban him. His topics are a bit vapid, but he appears to be a 'real boy' as opposed to a bot, and he hasn't broken the rules.

I'm not an old and experienced member, but I agree with Particle Person, Lord Wilmore, hoppy, rooster, Space Cowgirl and Blanko: Nimp shoudn't be banned, since he didn't break the rules.
