Night sky long exposure photos prove FET is wrong
« on: November 14, 2012, 03:48:53 PM »

This photograph and all other photographs of the same kind, done from all over the world (northern aswell as southern hemisphere) by probably many thousands of amateur and professional photographers, the fact that these photos are very easy and cheap to do, prove that Flat Earth Theory is nothing more than a fantasy.

Credits to Nolhekh who pointed this out, i thought it's worth a threat on its own.

It also proved FE, the heavens are circling above.

I don't see "gears". I see one big circle, characteristic of a rotating reference point along a line through the poles to the north star.

So does this mean that the rotating discs of stars that are apparently above the earth, are actually at an angle with the central point close to the horizon?

Don't insult your own intelligence please. If FE was true there would be only 1 center of rotation, the one by the polar star. In reality there are 2 centers of rotation, the one by the polar star above the north pole and the second center above the south pole, the latter of those being the same visible from south america, south africa and australia.

This is correct. According to FET, there are two rotational points for the celestial gears. These two points have two different tracks of stars that have a merging effect around the equator.
Gone.

...the second rotational point being where ? since you can observe it from south america, south africa, australia, oceania...

My statement is not in the slightest intellectual dishonesty.  You just read it as such.
Gone.

The main point I see in this photo is that the Sky cannot be parallel to the Earth as is claimed by FET.

This would show the sky spinning at a rather large angle to the horizon of the earth.

Well, that depends on who you ask.  In Tom Bishop's celestial gear model, there are no less than 3 rotational points for the celestial gears in the southern hemiplane.
