Moon's phases
« on: October 30, 2012, 08:48:36 AM »
How do the phases of the moon work?

If the moon and the sun are both flat discs or both very small, then how does the light form the sun reach the moon and illuminate only half of it?

The FAQ states that the Moon and Sun are spherical. Why do you think they are flat??
