You see? No other vote could elicit as much of a reaction, could upset so many people so easily. What difference would any other vote make? Vote Thork, sit back and enjoy the fall out.

Keep in mind that Thork, while only joking here, actually does censor words he thinks are offensive, and he often does so without any trace of irony. Those are the sort of personal ideals that will infect a man's legislation as long as they infect his mind. Do we want to be censored?

In the interest of secret affairs and transparency, I think there's one slogan that needs to be out there:

Who is Big Mike??

No, it's not Michael Clarke Duncan.

If elected into Parliament, I promise to abuse my power against Thork. Also, as a former president, I am by far the most qualified for government office.

Vote Franklin!
I'd like to see myself as the Ron Paul of this election. I promise to do exactly what I say, and you're all pretty sure I'll go through with it. I'm also slightly insane.

Revolutionary. I'm tired of politicians promising to do what they don't say.

NOTE: IT IS AGAINST THE RULES TO PUBLICLY REVEAL YOUR PARTY!

To clarify, is it OK to reveal one's party in PMs to specific people?

A related question: Can the Press reveal her own party? I mean, given that she could just ask for information she already has about herself and reveal it the next turn anyway.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

No, you can't reveal your party to other people.

The Press has the advantage of being able to say what they like (unless parliament bans the press) about whomever they like. There is no Leverson inquiry in FES.

Your indignation only makes me more powerful.

A vote for Thork is a vote to get this game really cooking. An opportunity to ruffle a few feathers and rub a few people up the wrong way. The more my being in charge makes you want to puke, the more other people are going to want to do that to you.

C'mon, jump on-board the Thork Express. Choo choo!  ;)

This just in: Thork involved in sex scandal with Big Mike.

This reporter has uncovered irrefutable evidence of Thork's involvement in a long-term relationship with the elusive gangster known to the public only as "Big Mike". Reportedly, Thork has promised political favours to Big Mike if he gets elected to Parliament in exchange for certain acts that would not be appropriate to describe in this family-oriented newspaper.

If Thork is elected, it is this reporter's opinion that he will vote to pass legislation that will legitimise many of Big Mike's dastardly schemes, including his recently established underground sex slave trade. Is this really the future you want for your children?

Don't vote for Thork on election day. Think of the children.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

THE SPEAKER SPEAKS

The Great Hall teemed with barons, their patsies, cooks, servants and various assorted members of the peasantry, including two serfs who were crouched as footrests for Baron Hussein. The cacophony was deafening and the Speaker's voice was hoarse from trying to respond to a dozen questions at once whilst simultaneously trying to control the assembled nobles.

Just like herding cats, or worse, children. thought the Speaker despairingly.

"Order! Order! I will have order!" He shouted, to the effect of making two of the more nervous servants raise their heads. He glowered, sighed then raised his head "Taxes for the richest 10% are going up!"

Thhis time a deafening silence fell over the room as stunned barons dropped what they were doing and turned to face the speaker.

"I'm sorry gentlemen, I didn't want to have to resort to such desperate measures, but there must be order. The Emperor has been dead for a week now and so far we have elected not a single Member of Parliament, I suggest that we open the ballots until the tower bell rings."

Dear citizens of FES

I bear this message not to be the bearer of a fresh sling of mud, but only the fact that facts, as a matter of fact, are all that I'm interested in. I knew something was up with the 'Big Mike' story, and so I brought it up. I claim not that it's because of me that the story was uncovered, simply that I had managed to point it out before any such thing was in the public eye.

I have not yet decided for whom I will vote, but the Red Baron, Th*rk, is not about transparency. Not about freedom. Not about...well...anything but anarchy. A little anarchy is good, but you should know he is not about true anarchy. All he wants is power. That is it. I understand the appeal of allowing chaos to reign, but know that your idea of chaos will not. He is not for anarchy, not for letting things go wild; no, he wants to be a dictator.

Earlier today Th*rk said, and I quote, "I will use my powers to do all kinds of horrible things". He doesn't want to make things fun for everyone. He wants to make things fun for himself. He wants to take over the Federated Empire of Shenton and bend it to his will. He wants to control it.

He wants to control you.

~Baron de Supertails

Chris, you should set up a timer like Pongo had on his Werewolf game that showed a consistent time for everyone, so we're not all scrambling to convert that to our timezone and figure it out. Just an idea. :)

Go there, enter a time (e.g. "tomorrow 6pm est") and you have your datestamp. Do this:

[time]1348095600[/time]

And it'll show up like this:

September 19, 2012, 04:00:00 PM

For me it says "September 19, 2012, 07:00:00 PM". It should show up differently for each time zone, if I did it right.

"A spy is appointed by parliament secretly (if they vote to appoint a spy then the MPs have to send the speaker a PM saying who) the spy sends a pm asking about any baron, the information is not sent back to the spy but every MP"

How is the spy appointed secretly? How de we vote exactly who will be the spy? Is this all via PM?

Anyway, if elected I promise to start appointing spies as often as possible and then using that information for the benefit in the best way possible. It may not sound much, but at least I promise some sort of action that may win the game, rather than Thork who will probably just give you a load of dick jokes.
Why do we fall back to earth? Because our weight pushes us down, no laws, no gravity pulling us. It is the law of intelligence.

It is very simple, gentlemen.  We should not be worried about political parties at the moment or even trouble ourselves with the political leanings of others.  No, the only absolute truth is that if Thork wins, we all lose.  Remember a vote for Thork is a vote for losing, a vote for Wakka of Wakka is a vote for amazingness.
