Parsifal revealed as Independent

The Daily Shenton is pleased to report that evidence has surfaced to expose Parsifal as an Independent baron.

What does this mean for voters? It means that regardless of your party affiliation, Parsifal is your best bet for the next election. For Communists and Liberals, the advantage is clear; the Independent is needed to gain a majority in Parliament. Furthermore, electing the Independent is preferable to making a random selection, which may well turn out to be a second Conservative MP, giving the Conservative party an enormous head start.

But the Independent is also the prime candidate for you Conservative voters. Consider that there are currently 6 barons of each party not yet elected to Parliament. This gives you a 67% chance of picking an enemy party if you select randomly. However, voting for the Independent -- a candidate with no particular affiliation to any party -- will not diminish your present dominance in Parliament. While less than ideal, consider it insurance against a Liberal or Communist victory.

Remember, the Independent has no party allegiance. Parsifal, and therefore the Press, can be your friend or your enemy in this game. The choice is yours; will you be the first to make a gesture of faith?
