Vikings are far superior, in every way shape and form, they had their own religion, a freaking AWESOME one at that.

Pirates can shoot vikings before they get to them. They also have superior ships. If it came down to hand-to-hand fighting though, my bets on the vikings.

Pirates are all assholes, think about it, they killed and robbed thousands causing great destruction/disturbance and basically totally fucking over many people.

Pirates have swords and guns.

Vikings have swords, battle axes, and maces.  They also have bows and arrows.  Flintlock pistols (which pirates have) take forever to load, and can backfire easily.  Bows are stealthy, powerful, and easy to wield with skill.

Anyone can shoot a gun. It takes alot of skill to be able to fire a bow with the accuracy of a pistol, and not every viking would have said skill.

Aye, but this isn't necessarily true when you're using the flintlock.

Of course it isn't as hard as aiming a bow.  The thing is, even with as easy as it is to aim it's still quite difficult to hit, just because flintlock weapons were that innaccurate.  If you take into account the amount of time it took to reload, you're kind of screwed if you miss the first shot.  Any Viking who has a bow will know how to use his bow so he won't be as likely to miss.  For a Viking, bow usage is a way of life from the time he is very young.  For a pirate, flintlock firarm usage is a way of life from the time he decides to become a pirate.
