question for spherical earth theorists
« on: July 14, 2012, 10:40:04 AM »
What would happen if the earth was spherical and we tunneled to the other side and you dropped an object down the hole?
Would it get to the center and just stop? Would it instantly stop? Slow down and stop? Or keep falling to the other side?

Another reason why a spherical earth makes little sense.

I'm confused. How does asking non-rhetorical questions equal making a point?

go back to studying you beloved nasa and coming to the conclusion that the earth is flat it suits you better.

why would something not make sense if you havnt tried it?

by the way have you dropped the old nasa rant now after realizing that they proved you wrong in the end?

There is so much NASA bashing on this site, someone has to be their advocate.
Do you believe in a massive NASA conspiracy?

NASA is full of very hard working innocent people.
I believe they are just getting it wrong...but that is easy to do when you are taught from a very early age that the earth is spherical.

did they get the size of mars wrong? how big was your last estimate?
the pictures of the earth from the moon prove your ideas wrong. how can a crescent shape be the spotlight?

c'mon you dont believe they are getting it wrong pull the other one

im not sure if i believe in a nasa conspiracy or not. many things suggest that the moon landing was a hoax. i thought it could be for a long time but im not 100% sure. but thats the point in a conspiracy right? there is just too much political motivation behind it and some damming evidence against it. but there is also enough evidence for it. if the first moon landing was a hoax the others may not of been.

nasa gets bashed here because it contradicts fet. without fake space missions the fes collapses.

This isn't true. the only hard working innocent people at NASA are the janitors, maybe. They are out to deceive the public and it takes a disgusting mindset to do something that inhuman. The kind of people that deceive an entire nation must be completely money hungry savages who are eager to take advantage of the gullible masses. The majority at NASA know the truth, and are just masking it with theoretical nonsense and technical-talk.

So did NASA deceive the ancient Greeks too?

No, Aristotle and co. deceived themselves, similar to many today.

So ironic!

Have you heard of the mom watching her son in the marching band?  She's like "look at that, everyone in the marching band is off except my little Jimmy."

She must have been a globularist.
