Anticipated Films

What films are you looking forward to and why?

I am looking forward to The Master by P.T Anderson.

I have been a huge fan of Anderson since I saw Magnolia, a very intricate film reminiscent of Short Cuts, that actually convinced me american films could be good, this was back in my rebellious teens. When There Will Be Blood was released I was apprehensive to go and watch it, because it was hyped so much; I didn't want to be let down. I went and saw it anyway and was mightily pleased that I did.

The Master Covers territory already covered by soderbergh etc, but P.T Anderson can always be truested to make good goddamn storyline that is both inventive and traditional. Very Much looking forward to it.

P.S There are rumours abound that he might do a film adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's Inherent Vice. I hope so.

When George Lucas allows someone decent to film the next 3 StarWars movies.
Why do we fall back to earth? Because our weight pushes us down, no laws, no gravity pulling us. It is the law of intelligence.

A decent person who directs three more Star Wars films?  Seems contradictory.

There's an American Psycho reboot in progress. Also, there are murmurs of rumors that there's been a hint of a movie based on the Foundation series.

If by 'reboot' you mean 'musical adaptation', perhaps.

I don't know what you're implying, but you're probably wrong.

Titanic 2 is already out.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1640571/

Note how the steam pipe thingy on the ship appears to have a sad face.

Ahh the Asylum, porn flicks have better effects, acting and stories. probably bigger budgets, too.

Yeah, I prefer James Nguyen for ultra crap films, personally. Speaking of which, I'll stick "Birdemic 2: The Resurrection 3D" on my list of anticipated films.

Other than that, unless David Lynch unveils a mystery project starring Nicolas Cage I don't really care.

TOm Cruise has new film mostly filmed in Iceland.  Love to see the scenary there, and he does his own stunts.

Meryl Streep has new movie out in 2 weeks (where I live) with Tommy Lee Jones "Hope Springs".  I just love her and she is so fascinating and good at what she does that I could literally just watch her eat the bark off trees and go WOW.

Yes...I think most people witnessing Meryl Streep eating bark off a tree would be impressed enough to make some similar exclamation.
