I think I'm missing it too. I'm certainly not in on this, I have no idea what's going on. They ask, I answer. I think happy has reached his conclusion. But it's totally lost on me.

An ant on your shoulder seeing an ant on your friend's shoulder, they will see each other with same size approximately but....

How the ant on the friend shoulder sees you and how do you see it?

One ant will actually see the same thing as the human, since they are the same distance from the other ant.

How big something appears is determined by the "angular size"  angular size is how much your eye has to turn to look from one side of an object or creature to the other.  Since an ant has a specific size, and a specific distance, that produces, mathematically the same angular size as seen by both the human and the other ant.  The observer is always on the vertex of an angular size, and the vertex is not affected by the size of the observer.

From the earth, the sun has a specific distance, and the sun itself has a specific size.  These things together produce an angular size that is well within our visibility.

A demonstration of angular size.  Angular size is the angle between any two of the lines connecting the corners of the cube to the POV (point of view/observer)  The cube could be ten times bigger, and ten times farther away, and it would look the same.  The size of the camera in the picture does not affect any of this.

again happy you appear to have something to say, can you just demonstrate it rather than claiming something and telling us you have hard proof that the earth is flat. you have shown us nothing so far. so please can you explain clearly exactly why we cant see the sun if the earth is round?

Ummm are you asking how the black ball sees the sun compared to a white dot? Well the Earth has no eye sight so I am not sure how that can be answered. If a bird was perched on a humans shoulder and both look at the sun they would most likely see the same size object sense the sun is a fixed size. Exiting the Earth's atmosphere would of course give you a cleaner view of the sun so it would appear different then what someone would see on Earth. The size, however, would not differ just the perception of the object based on many factors.

i dont think you understand perspective correctly and the nasa picture is out of scale. if the nasa picture was in scale all we would see is the sun in the sky and nothing else. however the sun is a massive object millions of miles away. if you hold a ball to your eye you see nothing but a ball. its only when you move the ball further away can you see the whole ball for what it is.

my question to you is how large do you think the sun is and how far away do YOU think it is?

Well when someone makes claim after claim after claim, says they want to debate, and when the debate begins, they bring nothing to the table but more baseless claims, and then says they feel insulted when you tell them they're bringing nothing to the table and are having a hard time understanding their English, I determine it to be a troll. Especially when this person is doing the same thing in every thread that they post in. It's okay for people to have their beliefs.
